Hi…I’ve found Poshmark, despite its name, is just another shopping venue where buyers want to lowball a seller with ridiculous offers of 50% or LESS of asking prices. It’s a waste of time, for me. And insulting, I might add. None of my items were ever priced at more than $40… all in excellent condition…ALWAYS high name and branded pieces…and were priced at appropriate affordable prices. Yet my items were trolled by other Poshmark sellers, I come to find out, offering under $10 per item. I usually caved in to those offers because I really wanted Poshmark to work for me - and any money was better than none, I thought. But profiting just $2 or $3 was just….stupid. Then those items land up in closets of other sellers, at higher prices…in days or weeks. I’ve followed this…it does happen. Why wouldn’t they? Buy low, sell high is any retailers mantra!! I just didn’t want to be the “picker” that filled the coffers of other Poshmarkers by doing the legwork and listing/payment cycle while they had the patience and the volume - neither of which I possess! - to sit back and wait for sales to happen, for months on end. A little bit of sour grapes on my part? Maybe - which is why I quit. So I researched an area of 50 miles around my house, and fostered a meaning relationship with a very fine and reputable consignment shop that was interested in what I had to offer. It’s much easier for me to do this type of repurposing, maybe every 2 months than messing around with Poshmark anymore. And don’t get me wrong…they are many many MANY lovely, wonderful and kind sellers in the Poshmark universe…and I wish them and the site nothing but good things…but I’ll sell locally since it seems to fit my style better.💕

Welcome to Poshmark! One thing that's important to remember is that although certain brands sell well for one reseller, don't be disappointed if it does not sell for you. Because vice-versa, a brand that sells well for you, may not sell well for someone else. BTW, watching resellers' videos is good. It gives you good tips and tricks. But, any reseller that makes you feel bad about selling or makes you feel like you're doing something wrong, don't watch. Keep your spirit up with people who lift you up!❤ Best of luck in your reseller journey.

I’m disabled and can only source from home. I have over 1100 pieces of jewelry, a few denim pieces, and some plush. Do you think there’s a chance I can be successful?

I recently started selling on depop and decided to expand to poshmark. I was doing some research and put up my first post on poshmark at 3 am. In about 8 hours I got 13 shares, 3 likes, and 173 followers and I’m getting consistent followers every hour. My post has relatively professional looking photos. Are these fake followers or is this common? I’m just a little bamboozled

Happy your channel was recommended to me. I enjoy looking at new resellers. Can't wait to watch your other videos. You've gained a new subbie. And you have the best name. it sounds like a brand.

It would probably be a good idea to branch out into other things besides clothes. Estate sales and garage sales are good as well.

You dont need an LLC to open a business bank account. Then you have to list your business with the state for sales tax. all the platforms take care of sales tax. I would talk to an accountant and the bank.

Love this. I’m thinking about going into reselling. I don’t know what I’m scared of or what’s holding me back. I want to start on Poshmark I think 🤔. Thanks for the info and tips. I appreciate it so much and I’m sure I’m not alone on that. Much❤

When you say listing everyday does that include relisting? Or just new items? TIA!
