Zal ik een Rx3 kopen of XZ? Beginner tot PRO

Im a bedroom Dj and bought this one for home use. I not need all the 4 channels but like you guys say. Its disappointing that this unet can not like up to deck 3 and 4 using the same USB.

Bro I'm thinking to buy this one or two xdj 1000 mk2 and the mixer. Which one do you recommend??

This system is OK for home and studio use. Not so good for pro use. It is best to have a modular system (standalone players and standalone mixer) for maintenance and for contingency planning.

you can't play 4 channels from 1 usb? so if I wanted to do a 3 deck mix I couldn't? or I'd need 2/3 usb sticks plugged into the unit? that's a deal breaker. thanks

I’m wondering if it’s recommended to be upgraded from the DDJ SZ2? I’ve been DJing with my SZ2 for a few years and I’m kinda stuck to it. I see both have it’s pros and cons so I’m wondering if it’s worth to be upgraded.

Ik ben opzoek naar een nieuwe mixer+cdj's of all-in-one speler om m'n oude hobby weer op te pakken. Ik heb op dit moment nog 2 Technics SL1210 M5G's, een A&H Xone:42 + Traktor Scratch A6 maar wil liever over gaan op Pioneer en wil zo dicht mogelijk bij de club standaard uitkomen. 6000 euro voor 2 cdj's 2000 nxs2 en de djm 900nxs2 is mij alleen iets te prijzig dus als ik het goed begrijp zou dit het beste alternatief moeten zijn. Heeft deze all-in-one speler ook DVS bijgeleverd zoals de djm 900nxs2 en de djm 750mk2 hebben, zodat wanneer ik de timecode vinyl koop ook met mn draaitafels en recordbox kan mixen, of komt dit er nog bij? En is dit als ik nog veel gebruik maakt van vinyl ook nog beste keus of wordt het onhandig omdat dit apparaat al groot is en daarnaast dan de draaitafels komen? Want dan zou ik misschien toch voor de djm 900nxs2 icm de xdj 1000's moeten gaan?

There is something important that i think is not clear. The soundcard, so the audio quality, I reed that in the xdj xz is not 24bits/192khz, so the audio quiality of the equipment is not equal to a cdj nexus setup. That is the only thing that keeps me wondering if I wan't to buy it or not.

is it posible to combine this mixer with an xdi-RR? and then have four channels?

I saw a dnb mix on the xz where the dude was using all 4 channels stand alone just by double tapping the shift button.

Hi guys, ik ben een sucker voor audio kwaliteit. Ik vond de pioneer mixers op dat terrein vroeger maar niks, maar sinds de DJM900 nexus2 is dat sterk verbeterd voor mijn gevoel.

Nu lijkt qua features deze all-in-one unit erg op die nexus2 mixer, maar hoe zit dat met geluidskwaliteit?

Ik ben niet technisch onderlegd in de zin dat ik iets snap van geluidskaarten of digital audio converters (dac), maar gewoon met mijn oren :-)

Can you adjust the crossfader curve? I cannot see any dedicated button for it!

Guys one really important question for me. Is there any possibility to connect Pioneer RMX 1000 station to XDJ-XZ in same way like for example to DJM 900NXS2 ?? I would like to take full advantage of its possibilities.

Is there no way of a software upgrade to allow 4 channels to be played from a USB stick? Or is this all down to Hardware?

Hi can i replace the original function of the pad via the rkb software for e.g replace slip loop by samplers or effects and also will it still be available if set so when using the unit standalone with usb without the laptop connected... thank you

I love this new gear TIP TOP everything....the only hick...is only 2 channel in Standalone mode and the the same xdj-rx screen (too small) when playing without a laptop, I know you can link other gears...but that makes the price directly higher, other than that, it's fantastic...!!!

Love the machine! Just bought one. Missing some features compare to the Prime 4 but still awesome machine, I am very Happy with it!

What really kills this controller is the fact that it’s only really 2 channels.
Also that screen, is so out dated .
They could of easily replaced that with a bezel-less 11” 1440p, OLED w/ multi-touch. Along with a computer built in and new , updated wave form layout .
So one can easily use all 4 channels.
Overall, definitely better off getting the prime 4. Better technology at a cheaper price .
