I think etsy is working on weeding out AI art creators so that may have been why your account got suspended initially (not for any ethical reason, it just goes against their branding of handmade crafts and is against some of their policies) not gonna lie I ain't sad about it since a lot of AI art programmers were saying 'Artist will die off because they are no longer needed' and that is proving to not be the case in some cases😅

This is the reality for 99% of people trying to sell based on zero knowledge about Marketing. Mark, thanks for all the tools, tips, and experience. But, we all forgot the most important thing: targeting your audience.
Pick a sub-niche, do some research on competitors and the sub-niche audience, and start creating focused content. Going wide on any platform will bring you zero results in most cases.

Example: Background Pattern > Pattern for kids > Graphics pattern style for Kids age 2-6

Through this, you will have the chance, and people will know you are the guy to come for BG Pattern for kids.

Great video, seen lots of click bait videos on AI which only make the person doing the video any money. Just find a niche, you can't be randomly blanket attacking loads of different styles and expect results, not now anyway. The problem with everyone doing AI is that you are creating an over saturated market and before long this will devalue art and the market places.

The problem with artistic expression (real or AI) is: The more people who do it, the less money can be made by the individual.

FYI - the US supreme court made a ruling that all ia generated art falls into the public domain by default. You should really look into this since it essentially means Midjourney's doesn't own the rights to the ary generated by its ai and therefore cannot sell those rights. No need to pay for subscriptions.

Seriously.- look deeper into this. Here's a brief summary if my takeaway on the ruling.

When you as a user type in a request you are taking on the role of a patron comissioning an artistic creation from an artist.

Midjourney's ai is taking on the role of the artist whom by law automatically owns all rights to the work created. However: the legal system does not recognize ai as a living breathing person and only a person can hold copyright on any created works.

Therefore it was ruled that all ai art is public domain by defacto and can be used freely by anyone just like all other public domain properties.

It has been some months since i looked into this and i encourage all of you to verify this for yourself. And if it turns out that the ruling has changed or that i misinterpreted it i would greatly appreciate it if someone were to correct me (politely please).

Ai "art" is theft, period!

Interesting. Eye opening. I believe AI generated art is not Copywrightable, that is one big drawback. If the poster is very familiar with photoshop, it would be much better to work in the webpage development. Learn some tools to build website. If you do not have art major skills, it will always be hard to embark in such a field. Make an inventory of your skills and your love for what you do then success could come. There has to be passion before seeing $$$.

But then I had another problem.

Traditional art videos are always about sharing knowledge, motivation, creativity, etc... while most AI art videos are just about making money.
I think is says a lot about the AI art community.

Have you tried: same design but in 3 or 4 different color schemes?
Sometimes people are looking for something to complement the colors in their interiour.
Offering an artpiece with editable color scheme or lettering, has added value as well.
