which is your most common long exposure photography mistake???
ОтветитьIt would be great to see you and your videos back again, have learned a lot from you, hope all is well.
ОтветитьHey Attilio, hope you’re ok, missing your videos, your content & delivery is excellent. It’s been too long. Hope you come back soon.
ОтветитьTHANKS ;-)
ОтветитьHi Attilio, Thank you for the insightful video, inspiring, as always... Could you by any chance give us more info on the exact Kase filter system/kit (Wolverine ? Skyeye ?..) you're showing us on your video ? There is so much selection within the brand that it would help your viewers (and me) quite a bit. Will mainly be used first on 20mm f/1.8 with D850. Thank you...
Ответитьyou dont have to spend 300 dollars to get a good filter--- i have plenty of 30 dollar ones and a 250 dollar one and they are as good as each other, lovely shots by the way!!
ОтветитьAttilio we all miss you. I hope you are doing ok, it looks like you have not posted in 8 months. Drop us a line. All the best. Johnny
Ответитьhope everything is well with you, we are all missing you terribly. your tips about photography has helped me out tremendously, you're an amazing teacher!
ОтветитьWhy are there no more videos? I was struggling with the genre of photography I wanted to specialize in until I started watch Attilio Ruffo and thanks mostly to Attilio I now exclusively do landscape and cityscape photography and I love it. Thanks for everything and I hope nothing is wrong in your life and you can start creating again soon!!
Ответитьbuying a crap quality nd filter to take shots of waterfalls that look better at 2s than 30s anyway thus don’t need it.
Problem with waterfalls is the water tends to need less exposure than the surroundings, how does anybody else deal with this, hdr?
Thank you so much
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьOn top of my 10 stops, I hesitate between a nd or gnd soft 3 stopd
ОтветитьIsn't the fact of adding 2 nd filters one above the other also diminishing the quality of the image, as would closing down to f22 do?
Ответитьthank you for your inspiring videos - could you tell me where on the net you can buy the smart lockable viewfinder you showed - thanks in advance
ОтветитьAttilio - you shouldn't vanish like this without any word - people worry about you, are you ok man, we miss your prescence, just put something up so we know you're doing ok.
Ответитьhi excellent video and do you have the link for the nd filters please and is it kase you said cheers
ОтветитьAdios Proffessor = I have waited and waited for you to come back, just assumed that you have given up = thank you for your past videos, I always got something out of them, byr
ОтветитьI enjoy your on location videos, but have a question about a post processing solution. I also use ND filters to give me long exposure images, but what I am looking to do is merge a long exposure image with one that was taken at a faster shutter speed that freezes sailboats in the harbor or tree branches in the trees. Is there a way in lightroom to merge two images, one taken with a fast shutter speed to freeze any motion, with a long exposure of the water flat or the clouds streaking by? No one seems to talk about how you can merge sharp and long exposure images, making me think it's not possible. Your thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.
ОтветитьIs it bellgio at the beggining? that's such a beatiful place! You definitly save me with your amazing video! At first i was always using a really slow aperture like f22-32 and the sharpness is just a disaster.... BTW i have another problemo is whem i review my long exposure photos there're always some noticeable black points there, i think it might because the dusts in the 20yrs old lens... How can i reduce this problem as possible? Like using a faster aperture? Thank you so much and buon lavoro!🥰
ОтветитьWe miss you, I hope you are ok.
ОтветитьThanks for taking time out to put this video together, it's very useful and very much appreciated Attilio ....Cheers !
ОтветитьI recently switch to a mirror less camera, but I still own my Nikon D850 and I use both for long exposures. My only major mistake is forgetting to turn off the in body stabilisation for my mirrorless camera. You have to turn it off and also turning off the lens, stabilisation as well.
ОтветитьI have to say I really have enjoyed all of your videos over the years and learned so much from you. I respect your opinions and trust your reviews on equipment. I have missed your pressence over the past few months and hope you are doing well. My daughter is now starting to take photography courses and I hope to continue to share your videos with her and inspire her creativity.
ОтветитьI like your videos
I appreciate the time and effort you take in filming them so they are also reflecting the beauty of the location and are relaxing to watch while being informative
Thanks
I have my iso at 200 a nd 7 filter and even at just 1 sec my pics are over exposed? what is wrong?
ОтветитьAttilio we miss your videos
ОтветитьMissing you, dear Attilio, hope you are okay? See you soon here in your magic universe of long eksposition! best wishes Erik / Denmark
ОтветитьHello, can you please explain how to focus correctly in landscape photography? For example on your 20mm lens. Perhaps many people would be interested in this as a separate video.
Thank you.
Happy New Year dear Attillio. It is always a pleasure to learn from you and watch your mesmerizing images. Stay blessed ❤️
ОтветитьAnother outstanding video, this video.
This video made me curious about Lake Como, I would like to visit for a few days in the near future, and take the opportunity to take some photos. From a photographer's point of view, what are the places in Lake Como with more potential for landscape photography.
Good advice. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThis is so much fun! A new facet of photography that I've never attempted but am drawn to it by these vlogs! Thank you and Happy Holidays to you and your subscribers!
ОтветитьMr Ruffo thanks for this very helpful video on long exposure. Please on sea coast long exposure where exactly do you focus?
ОтветитьAmazing thankyou for your info brilliant thankyou amazing picture the last one was outstanding
ОтветитьThank you for this very interesting video!!! I am just going to start photos using long exposure. You've gave good instructions to reduce mistakes. THANK YOU!
ОтветитьHi Attilio 👋🏽 Newbie to LE photography here! I know you said not to trust the app 😅but just out of curiosity when you are entering the test shot/base settings into the app - if you are using a 10stop ND + 3stop GND would you enter into the app as it being totally as 13stops or 10?
Thank you for your time and these videos they have made me feel a lot more competent to go shoot
Great video that last shot was insane 😮 thank you
ОтветитьI think you are using the new Heipi tripod that you have just reviewed. How is the experience so far?
ОтветитьCiao Attilio
Ti ringrazio
Giuseppe
I have been using the LEE Filters app for calculating LE. The down side to this app is it only adjust for three filters: 6 stop, 10 stop, 15 stop. So a little math is still necessary. What LE calculator do you use?
Ответить60 seconds in and I got an add, when I had to skip 2 adds before the video, you list Me
ОтветитьHello Attilio. I noticed only that of your favorite lenses only the 20mm is an FX Lense. Do you have a reason for your preference? Thank you.
ОтветитьI have an Canon EOS R with RF 24-105 F4L and RF 14-35 F4. I also bought 6 and 10 stop B&W ND filters and Manfrotto travel carbon tripod. I really want to get RF 70-200 F4 and it is on sale now. However, I want to keep it 2 lenses only for travel (Going to Iceland in December). I think I can buy RF 70-200 F4 and sell RF 24-105 F4L. However, RF 24-105 F4L is such a good lens! I find using using RF 14-35 much more often though because of the close focusing distance for selfies with the significant other. RF 24-105 F4 has a minimum 45cm focusing distance and my arms are not that long LOL. What a dilemma - or just forget about RF 70-200 F4 and stick with what I have.
ОтветитьExcellent reminders!
ОтветитьGreat video, as usual very informative and information that will improve my long exposures, thank you.
ОтветитьAttilio hai il link per l'oculare che puoi chiudere per evitare l'effetto fantasma ?
grazie e sempre complimenti per i video
Bravissimo come sempre!
Ottimo video Attilio!!!
