Thanks. Just bought it for work and PS mainly. Great and helpful video, as always. 👍
Ответитьthis is the chip my prebuilt came with, paired with a 3060, I've upgraded to an rtx3080 and went from a prime b550m-k asus board to an msi b550 gaming plus the ryzen 7 5700g is basically the only part I kept from the pre-built rog strix and I've always thought it is a very capable chip, I've only ever used other people's pc's before and this setup of G-APU along with the RTX3080, 32gb ram is by far the fastest computer I've ever used, I KNOW there are MUCH better setups but me personally best PC I've ever used
ОтветитьI'm little clear after you video.
Can suggest 7 5700G for the Photo & Video editing?
Or 5 5600G Enough?
The 5700G is now $170. I see a small form factor build in my future.
ОтветитьWhy on earth they just give this 8 gpu cores and the 3400G has 11 gpu cores.
ОтветитьThank you for the thorough review. Does it make sense to buy this instead of the 5800X if I'm planning on getting a discrete GPU for video editing and moderate gaming? Or should I go ahead and try to get a better CPU instead?
ОтветитьR7 5700g is currently $178 from Lord Bezos.
ОтветитьFirst time builder here. Got one for $160 at MC
ОтветитьWhy do they call them Discrete GPU's. They are anything but!?!?
ОтветитьI just bought a 5700g for C$ 270. Paired with a B550 Tomahawk it has a 460% improvement in file compression speed compared to my 4790k.
Color me very pleased!
ordered a 5700g on amazon cause it was on sale... hopefully it was a good purchase lol...
ОтветитьI honestly like integrated graphics mostly for trouble shooting and ease of use when swapping systems. Its just so nice to be able to work on a system without worrying about a graphics card.
ОтветитьJust got s 5700G for under 200$. Nice upgrade from my 3700x and a really cheap way to drive 2 extra displays without having to upgrade other components.
ОтветитьAt $178 the R7-5700G should be revisited.
ОтветитьWhen the apu market wins you’ll know it from the ram price
ОтветитьJust bought one locally for $100
ОтветитьI wanna try crypto mining on this lol
ОтветитьHelpful with the graphs, thought these sounded interesting due to emulation channels' hype and so on. Hard to follow what you are saying though, you speak a 100 mph until the sarcasm slows you down...
ОтветитьMy 5700g sometimes boosts to 5.2 ghz on its own, no overclocking I put on my end.
ОтветитьJust clicked this video. First Impressions... This guy is just a Linus copy cat. Bye.
ОтветитьI am looking at building a home server using the Rosewill 4412 12 bay case and running Truenas Scale main VM's would be plex and windows 10 with a few other items on it to play with would the 5700g be a good choice for this server or should I look for a better processor, I am not locked into AMD over Intel. I will be using plex server for transcoding.
ОтветитьEdit: missed that there was a section with paired dedicated GPU i missed it. I looked at the bottom chart and did not notice it was there.
Ответитьwith prices still not that healthy and lack of inventory in my area i will have to pass.
Ответитьpicked one up today new for 200euro
Ответить5600x is cheaper than this
Ответить$185 on amazon rn
ОтветитьThis CPU is almost 50€ cheaper than the 5700X here so it perfectly fills in the gap between the 5600X and 5700X while being closer to the 5700X and sporting an iGPU.
Solid deal!
Have you tried undervolting yet?
ОтветитьNow available at Microcenter ~$230. At that price point, it's a hell of a value
ОтветитьWell damn this thing got way cheaper and a hell of lot better than any of these in terms of overall value in the short and long term
ОтветитьAny recommendations on a good GPU to drop in with my Ryzen 7 5700G, for gaming?
Ответитьwhen I came back to watch this and to make a PC under $800 Canadian with AMD R7 5700G or R5 5600G.
since the AMD CPU prices went down I just noticed the 7-core next to the R5 5600G.
I am planning to buy this processor and pair it with 32gb ram. I edit 4K videos of max 15 minute duration on the timeline with some color grading and few fx and transitions etc, mid level work not too heavy. I plan to work with the VEGA 8 internal graphics until i get a good graphics card. Is this possible ?
ОтветитьI was checking out y'alls store and not one computer hmmm... so you make them better and review stuff. But you don't actually build them for sale. Tsk tsk
ОтветитьI got a 5700G instead of a 5800x because it was almost 2/3rd the price at the time ($240 vs around $380) and with the savings you can put that money towards more ram, an extra NVME, or higher tier video card. Yes it has about 10% less performance, but it runs much cooler and can boost all cores almost 100% of the time with a 240mm AIO cooler. Boost can be overclocked to 4.8Ghz and even though it's using pcie 3.0 (with a 3060 ti, 2 1tb nvmes in raid 0, 32Gb Ram, using an Asus B550 motherboard) you can't even tell it's not using pcie4. Everything runs great and at full speed.
You have a back video card if you ever need it. All things considered it's good enough for almost any game or application that's going to be developed for the average consumer for quite sometime. It's also faster than most Intels previous generations which would cost way more.
Plus when you're done with it or looking for a cheaper chip, it has enough power to be a stand alone server with decent processing power, a great mame build, or both at the same time.
Replaced 2200g with 5700G. HUGE difference. Worth it.
ОтветитьI got one for my first build for $219. Seems worth it
ОтветитьHi, I'm a little confused about the PCIe lanes.
For example I'm on a Asus B450-E with a 2700X. And my RTX 3070 GPU is running at x16 speed and my only NVMe M.2 at x4, both at PCIe 3.0 and both directly connected to the CPU and not the chipset, from my understanding.
My question is: Will I be running at the same specs if I upgrade to the 5700G, or will it be downgraded to say x8 for the GPU? I looked up my motherboard specs on Asus' website but can't figure it out.
Which one is value for money if we have 5600g , 5700g and i5 12400 in mind? In present scenario
Ответитьwe call CPU scalpers "MARKETPLACES" now!
ОтветитьI JUST went down from 5900x to 5700g and omg I love this little chip. It's amazing, incredible power consumption and plenty of power if you're just gaming/streaming.
ОтветитьAny way to know what AMD motherboard they used to test the 5700g? Trying to find a motherboard to pair with this
ОтветитьHow would this be with 4000Mhz or 4400Mhz ram? APUs use the system memory vs GDDR on GPU's
Ответить335U$D for a 5700G with import fees good price?
ОтветитьShould I buy the 5600g or 5700g? Is it worth the extra $100? Not a gamer
ОтветитьIs this with stock heat disipation fan?
Ответить
