This speech looks so great today but remember at the time , the segregationists viewed Martin Luther as a threat and called him all sorts of names ,and wrote all sorts of bad things about him in the papers,kind of like how Zionists today view Palestinian activists as a threat and call them all sorts of names, write all sorts of articles and even cut funding....granting blacks citizenship and full rights to the people of this era sounded like how it sounds to the Zionists when people demand equal rights for Palestinians....

Whenever I listen to a speech like this, it tells me all lives matter. Whether you're black white this or that. Just like all animals in nature, even they matter. Whether if they're aggressive harmless or anything else, they all have roles to play in nature. Their lives matter as well. People of all race gender religion matter as well because we all live in the human family. 😊

I have to say, in my 36 years on this earth, I never have heard this entire speech. Just the "highlights". This should be required in every American history class. Not only that, but it should be required viewing for all Americans. In this era of forced division, we need someone like this. But today, he'd be stifled, like anyone else with a free-thinking brain.

The radio said his speech was 1967. Abraham Lincoln ended slavery. I really wonder if words from a colored man back during the Jim crow movement did anything.

Except we are not free today. We have no seen reparations. We are followed by cops when driving a nice car. They watch us thru iPhones and smart tvs and any other technological device. Our authentic original name on a job application gets rejected. They brainwashed us into wearing designer fashion that hates us. They want us to forget where we came from. They erase and deface our history then say they made it their own. We are still enslaved today, mainly mentally but there is so much corruption in this country and world that one man cannot fix. We must all be woke to what is happening and join together to rid the old way and form a truly free equal society.
