Can I use 9 mm bullets for the pistol t4e Hdp 50. The pistol has the same caliber .50 but those bullets have a conical tip rather than speherical rubber balls. Will those work in the t4e HDP 50?.

Is there any way you could possibly give an exact measurement of the HDP 50 rubber/pepper rounds? I've seen some folks saying they measure closer to 12.5mm rather than 12.7mm, so I'm thinking of getting 12.5mm steel ball bearings instead of the 12.7mm that's "supposed" to fit... lol. I hear the majority of feeding/binding issues with the actual .50 cal 12.7mm steel rounds is that it jams up the stock detent. I don't really want to get a magnetic/'aftermarket' one of those, so I hope to replicate the precise size of the stock ammunition. Please help! Lol

I left my valve block in but drilled it out to 3/16 and it's a different gun. I use glass balls at 2.8 grams. Definitely would hurt..

Hay bro nice video I completely agree that HDP might be ok for something like pepper balls but for self-defense other then pepper it's a pooper personally I go with ether the First Strike FSC, PepperBall TCP or my maxed out M17 seeing that I can't own a real gun with that being said the umarex 50 cal or 68 cal are not too bad if you tweak them factory settings don't cut it for me

Remove the restrictor valve. Use 1/2 hardened glass slingshot ammo. Goes from toy to punching holes in 3/8 inch plywood just like that

Interesting results. Take the gun apart, remove the valve block & put it back together. You will see far different results. In addition to the projectiles you demonstrated, try 1/2 inch steel balls, commonly sold as slingshot ammo. Thank you for the video.

do not upgrade the valve to 20joules and then accidentally shoot ya self in the hand. it really really hurts. and if ya put 185gr hollowpoints in there it will drop a full grown man at 20ft. after accidentally having a jam and then a misfire i can tell ya myself even shot in the hand i didnt want any fight from anything. and i was checking for a hole in my hand for like 3 hours.

I got most of the products in the T4E platform, and as much fun as they are and as much as I love them, they definitely would not be my "go to" in any situation where my safety was in jeopardy.
If it's all you got, use it, but I highly recommend using something else.
As a pepperball gun they are somewhat effective, but that's about it.
