Elevator method for hardest Maneki-neko in the game, required for 🏆"One of Us" trophy. Control Ultimate Edition on PS5.

Trophy Tip: One of the most annoying collectibles I have ever gone for in a videogame, this Maneki-neko requires you to hit all four of the nodes as the lift is going up in one go. This pretty much requires you to memorise their exact locations which are shown in the video. I recommend disabling all sound except the sound effects so you can get a good "feel" for the timing required to stop the lift - this video can help you with that for the first three, but I am a fraction early with the last one. Not helping matters either is the way the "contextual" prompt to press square works (or fails to work as the case may be) to stop the lift in the game: you need to ensure you're standing right next to it as you begin to hold the square button or the length of time you are required to hold the button varies. Again this also means a few practice runs would help in getting the muscle memory right to be able to stop the lift at the right time. Remember, if you ever make the lift go back down, even just a fraction, the cat won't spawn when you get to the top. Good luck!
