So You Want a Hayabusa...

Bought my first Busa at 20 years old after riding a 600 for 6 months. Such a fun comfortable bike. Ride Harleys now but love to have another busa as a 2ed bike

So my rocket 3 roadster has been total by my insurance should I take that has a sign that I should get a BUSA?!? 🤷

I’m 6’6” and the busa is pretty much the only sporty bike that will fit. Litre bikes don’t really fit. No, I will commit sepukku before I ride that monstrosity that is the GS1250.

Yeeeeah maybe sayin this to quickly as only a minute N half, but busa may be as glorious as you represent it, but short of all out maximum power available to achieve easiest way bigger the disp easier to make power, but as far as streetbike bang for bang ?? Busa just for those fallen few inches short on there god given jewel , or wants to be Big Dick Willy !!!! Zx10 will eat it alive not just in a line, but turning braking and man handling, its a Hya- sofa on wheels, dont get me wrong busa is a nice bike but again if biggest size engine sportbike from suzuki is what is wanted then its a greatbike add a snail to it, fu@# lethal ! But as long as it puts smile on the face, all that matters. there all nice, and you dam well turbo busa for a first time rider is nothing short off suicide, much cheaer to buy gun shoot youself !! 😅

I just hope that if a beginner ever gets a ‘Turbo Busa’ as their first bike they film the entire experience…

There’s nothing dbag about a lowered Hayabusa with brocks that’s stretched 6 to 8 inches with 200mm rear. This video went way too all or nothing with this Busa Boy thing. I think this video should of explained that having many of those mods minus 300 fat tire, chrome aftermarket fairing kits, lights too stretched etc. Brocks exhaust is nice. Keeping a Busa completely stock is nerdy af. Theres a time tested saying that goes back to my early mid 2000’s muscle car days and thats “if ain’t at least got exhaust you’re not shit” and the same goes for bikes. A lowered Hayabusa with a 6 inch stretch on stock rears with Brocks sidewinder is sick af.

Gen 2 hayabusa was my first bike… I’m 5’5 💀 it’s not even lowered I can hardly go backwards, I pivot on to each side of the bike lmao

My first bike I bought and rode on the street was a 2002 black and blue busa.. had her for 7 years. Looped her out in one month exactly … then crashed it again later . I’m still alive and I ride a 117 and a 113 dyna now though 😢

A few weeks ago, I was watching a few motorbikes videos and in one video there was a Hayabusa. I kept thinking why I should not buy a Hayabusa, and this weekend I bought a BUSA all modified. And I love it. Best idea ever. lol Now you have to be extremely careful on the throttle, over 8000 RPM this is when you notice that you have a beast in your hands unleashing its full potential.

Anybody who starts out riding a supersport bike or a high cc bike is silly. The bikes mentioned are for people looking to move to the next level. You will develop poor riding skills and judgment starting out on a bike designed for advanced riders. A new rider needs something they can easily control and muscle around. A beginning rider will spend more time worrying about doing the wrong thing than enjoying the riding experience.

The bigger bikes and supersport bikes are not known for beinuser-friendlyly. They are designed for speed and power.

I’m confused if a 2007 Hayabusa is a first gen or second, can someone help?

There was absolutely no riding aids on Gen 2 Busa either ( when it came out). No Abs, no traction control. Power modes i dont count , as no one would be using any other than A mode. So it cant be called " watered down " Gen1.
