I'm gonna be honest. Until you got to the part where it was explained that the Ziel Fruit is the only thing that remains when a Xolbrine looses its host and dies of dehydration I thought that the Fruit was Xolbrine eggs. While the real origin is pretty grim, it's definitely better than what I thought.

One thing that I’m wondering is if a methanosian can survive on Venus, but I just realized they can’t handle heat very well despite their heat powers, and Venus is very hot. Another thing I wonder is what Ben 10 aliens could survive the harsh environment of Venus.
