After reading some of the comments I will point a couple of things out - I have one of those rare things - a sense of humour 😁 this video was not to be taken serious but it seems so many people have done.
For those who could not see the obvious - The guy at the start was a friend and it was some admittedly poor acting.
The watch was purchased with my own money and I was free to do whatever I wanted with it, including destroying it - my watch, my choice.
If you can’t deal with that then that’s on you - you shouldn’t have watched especially since the thumbnail shows pretty much what happens.
To those who watched it and took it with the light hearted humour that was intended, thanks for watching and cheers for your support 🙏🙏👍
戴手錶已經不是什麼時尚的事情了,昂貴手錶在我看來都是浪費
ОтветитьPretty cool how it glowed red inside XD
Ответить$50, yup it's real, LOL ha ha!
ОтветитьIf only there were enough angle grinders to chop up fake watches, clothing and everything else that’s faked
Who feels good wearing a snide? Or worse getting taxed by a mugger for it 😂😂 now that’s funny
A thought just popped into my head - if these guys spent as much time on the movement as they did on faking the exterior they may be able to compete in the mid tier segment- somewhere between a Seiko 5 and Presage. Of course that’s not a quick buck but hey this is a waste of resources. I’m okay with homage watches btw but not fakes.
ОтветитьYou should get someone that works in forensics to take the finger prints from these cheap watches catalog them and see if the same person comes up ever again.
ОтветитьRemarkable build fake or not. If it functions it’s worth more than £50!
Ответитьgood video. interested to hear about the differences between real and fake.. from a value perspective. i'd never wear a fake anything.. but I did clutch pearls a bit w the angle grinder. el oh el.
ОтветитьMy take away is that you can buy a clone and have a pro clean and rebuild it, yes? hehehe
ОтветитьI just bought a very nice clone no date 41 mm Submariner to wear when traveling. I recently found out how much my 2006 14060M has appreciated don't want it ripped off my wrist when in Italy in particular. For $200 it is cheap insurance and I now have the original's model serial number registered with Chubb. BTW, this was a terrific video. There are a couple of equally talented local watch technicians locally and may have my clone serviced when return from Europe.
ОтветитьTop-tier craftsmanship!
ОтветитьI'm sold on this quality.
ОтветитьSimply unmatched in style.
ОтветитьBest watches out there, hands down.
ОтветитьSwissarex is top-notch quality, no doubt.

ОтветитьObsessed with the elegance of Swissarex.
ОтветитьI need one of these!
ОтветитьThese watches are impressive.
ОтветитьLove you video and your comments are truly wise! Don't let the negative comments discourage you. But for those out there, don't buy a fake watch to compensate for something else that may be lacking in your life because in the end you will feel empty wearing the fake and embarrassed if called out on it. For the same amount of money get a no name reputable brand. But I do agree from the time this video was created there has been so many other "super clones" out there and the copies are getting better for sure. Your workmanship and skills are truly amazing!
ОтветитьI’ve seen many watch videos and the workings of the mechanical and self winding jobs appear all to be the same. So how is this “fake” Rolex different from the genuine, other than a couple of eyelashes and too much oil in the works?
ОтветитьHAHAHAHA LOVED IT ALL THAT WORK THEN THE ANGLE GRINDER AT THE END WAS CLASSY I SEE UR POINT FAKES RUIN IT FOR LEGIT WATCHMAKERS
Ответитьgenial video and great knowledge of watches machinery !
ОтветитьThis is literally like walking into Home Depot and looking at anything metal - that same dull recycled steel that won't possibly test to what they claim it will. Rusts easily, tears and strips out, and is just a mess of stray bits and burrs. Lol. The most entertaining part, IMO, about this "watch", are the glass bits that they are passing off as "jewels".
Ответитьcurious .... how did that fake watch make it through customs?
Taking into account how many thousands of seized fake you name it's I took from customs offices to the customs disposal warehouse over the years, ... it is unusual for the fakes to get through. Entire shipments are seized when ONE fake is found! (yes, they check more than the first couple boxes.🙄)
Part of 1 load was 5,000 fake Bose headphones, a couple thousand fake Sekio watches, a few thousand fake DVD's and music disks .
I hated customs loads, by the way. I had to sign the chain of evidense documents FOR EVERY SINGLE DARN THING THEY PUT ON THE TRUCK! (and invetory it in) I had to sign for each and every one of those daRn fake headphones AND Sekio's AND the DVD's/Music Disks! ... Needless to say, Customs loads give writer's cramps. 🙄
At least a customs guy at the receiving warehouse had to sign for each and every item as it came off the truck, so us poor truck drivers were not the only ones getting awriter's cramp.👺)
Shirley they didn't find a "loop hole" and smuggle that one watch in on some smuggler's wrist??? How could they smuggle in enough to meet "demand" one at a time on any given flight???? 😳🙄
I'm moving to The Philippines in several months, and I wouldn't wear my Rolex there (for obvious reasons) so I'll buy one of those "higher grade"
replicas for several hundred dollars and pretend I'm wearing my real Rolex.....
After watching the whole process of disassembly, assembly and cleaning, I want you to take care of my watch.
A Rolex made in China can renew your youth in your hands, praise your technology
I would like to see a similar video with a Swiss-made Super-Clone. PM me if you need a link.
ОтветитьIt looks unbelievably cheap under that magnification, wow.
ОтветитьTotally stupid to destroy it after all that work. Someone could have used it.
ОтветитьAwesome job ,impressive 👍
ОтветитьI bought one in the 70s in Chinatown NY. It was a genuine bolex. & I kind of liked it.
ОтветитьI guess they are not very impact resistant eh ?
ОтветитьYou don't say it, but it is not made from brass. Stainless steel is unikely. So is it carbon steel with a simpel, sheap coating?
ОтветитьGreat video and I second older comments about how good a watch it is. It’s still a decent watch, looks just like a real Rolex and dirt cheap. The real moron is the person wasting 10K on a real overpriced Rolex that is only really worth around 600-900 pounds (GBP) to manufacture and the rest is absolutely horrendous marketing bollocks price mark-up supported by the rich idiots who wear them. This video demonstrates quite clearly that these watches are cheap in every way. The bit I never liked was the axel grinder! Why? the real crime in the pricing!!!!
ОтветитьCould have been donated to charity as a fake Rolex
