And also there is a fan version of gaster through that is called x gaster i think people know about the show but if you didn't then well here's your first time ever hearing about it
ОтветитьThere’s also this weird thing where in comic dubs or animated shorts with voices that sans has a low voice and papyrus has a high voice
ОтветитьToby uses W.D Gaster as something to "lure" fans to deltarune and probably his future games.
ОтветитьMy prediction is that the gaster we have all come up with will be a canon event or at least some of the more popular parts of him that fits into tobys already pre determined story, however i think there will be another gaster, the one he had in mind when implementing him into undertale in the first place. Either way this has been the best quasi ARG ive ever been involved in
ОтветитьAlphys: You took everything from me.
W.D Gaster: I don't even know who you are.
YAY I like seeing cameos of AFAC, I really like the universe TQ and CK made.
That being said this video is blowing my mind!
[REDACTED] is cursed
ОтветитьLillie: “Many versions of me are stuck in the void, help.”
ОтветитьWAIT HOLD UP YOU MADE INVERTED FATE???????
ОтветитьMystery man=main fragment
[REDACTED]=the parts that were completely [REDACTED]
Memory heaf=a small fragment

Isn’t it weird that Gaster and Alphys approached their position as Royal Scientist in completely different ways?
Gaster created the Core. This is one of the few outright confirmed things about the character. The Core seems to be what powers all the electronics and stuff in the Underground, making their lives more comfortable but not contributing to helping them escape.
Alphys was tasked with helping to find a way out through soul power and determination, and she actively tried to find a way to break the barrier.
The way I choose to see this difference in work ethic is that Gaster was more of a “take the hand you’re given” kinda guy, making the most of a bad situation he may have believed monsterkind couldn’t escape. Alphys, on the other hand, seems to take more initiative on helping the monsters leave.
This can also be seen in the tragedies that befall each scientist. Gaster was said to have fallen into the core, and the language the Goners use make it seem like this was done completely by accident. Meanwhile… as stated before, Alphys later takes the initiative, seemingly not by accident.
I've always interpreted, "He was scattered across time and space" in the same way that "everything, everywhere, all at once," handles Jobu. She can see across and access every world and timeline, but is never fully in one world. She's constantly living through every experience the other versions of her are going through. THAT'S how I think gaster works, just that it's one guy across all these timelines (although I don't have evidence, it's just my personal interpretation)
ОтветитьHonestly i think it would be REALLY interesting if Gaster ends up looking just. Completely different. I see people saying stuff like “well Toby HAS to make him the mystery man at this point” but like… no he doesn’t! To me it seems like Gaster is WAY more ingrained in the story of Deltarune, and only really in Undertale as little easter eggs. And must I remind people that he thought up the idea for Deltarune in like… 2011 or something. He’s not gonna change that just cause the fans got overexcited lmao.
I am really excited to see what kind of role he plays in Deltarune though as we get more. Especially because it seems the secret bosses (having a connection to Gaster) might be more present in the main story over time…
The follower that claims to hold a piece of gaster is often associated with mystery man, as they share a resemblance to the thing that hes holding. But something i couldn't help but notice is that the gaster follower isn't the one talking, the thing in his hands is. Thus, there is still a minor grey area regarding who the piece is and who the follower is.
ОтветитьI think the void idea comes from log 18, where gaster describes something as “dark, darker, yet darker” and people assuming this is what he fell into, and darkness is usually associated with a “void”
ОтветитьI encountered a faster follower on my first play through it was the one with the piece of him thought nothing of it and on my second play through I found a strange hallway in waterfall with a white door opened it found a weird guy still thought nothing of it until I went online and found out about what this was about weirds me out that on my first two runs I encountered a rare FUN value
ОтветитьI do believe that there is a point about the Skeleton Theory. It is likely that the font thing isn't limited to Sans and Papyrus, as Toby had a conceptual character known as Grandpa Semi who was meant to be related to the Skeleton Bros. The Semi is likely short for Semi Serif, another font.
ОтветитьLate comment but if turtleneck gaster ends up being debunked it wouls be the funniest thing. toby please destroy my entire perception of gaster and give him a wooly jumper or something instead
Ответитьtarot cards aren't offical idk why you said that
ОтветитьI personally believe that the only experiments gaster did was the core and darkness experiments
ОтветитьI think Gaster being "made of Fanon" might actually BE Toby's intent. Given the message that used to be in Undertale's files lambasting data miners for ruining surprises, I presume that Gaster was intended to recreate the old school "playground rumours" that used to be everywhere in the days before widespread, reliable Internet access. The rare FUN events hark back to the kind of crazy nonsense we used to talk about (reviving Aeris, evolving Pokemon into Mario characters, etc) Thus, I think it's actually fine for most of his lore to be Fanmade.
Ответитьpersonally, i really like handplates, and view that as a sort of headcanon for myself
ОтветитьI've always felt that MysteryMan probably isn't Gaster, but rather a very close follower of Gaster. That is, he may have been an assistant of Gaster alongside Alphys, and would have been trapped in the FUN 66 room by the same force that shattered the "real" Gaster.
That's just my Head canon, and it could very well be disproven.
Something that's been kicking around in my head.
When you look at Alphys's lab entries in chronological order, you see that there's an entry where she talks about finding strange tapes and wondering if Asgore's seen them and thinking it's best if he hasn't. We assume that she's talking about the old home videos that describe Chara's plans, but in the next lab entry, Alphys says she built the machine from the blueprints. And I wonder if these entries are connected.
What if Gaster was recording illicit experiments in collecting Determination, and his blueprints showed up in a tape Alphys found?
People are making the connection that Gaster's Entry 17 suggests he's experimenting with creating dark worlds. And to create a dark world, you need Determination.
OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH I JUST NOW SAW THIS BUT STILL SOMEONE TALKED ABOUT IT
Ответить"The mysterious egg man"
Ответитьhonestly, there is a chance gaster is the optional (yet true) final boss and you need to reform him to get the best ending... and at that point he will have so much control on reality it doesn't matter how he used to look, h'll make himself look like the Mystery Man.
ОтветитьI think a lot of these Mandela effects are a misunderstanding of Deltarune Foreshadowing.
The void could be partially an interpretation of what Gaster meant by all his “Darker yet darker” talk, since a void is a lack of light, aka dark. We can now assume his words likely had something to do with the dark worlds.
Gaster being forgotten was seemingly confirmed by the picture of three poorly drawn smiling figures with the words “Don’t forget” written on it. People at first thought the three figures were Sans, Papyrus, and Gaster, since it would make sense given it’s found in the lab with the strange machine.
But now we know “Don’t forget” has a specific meaning, being “Don’t forget, I’m with you in the dark”. While this could refer to Gaster, his speaking style is very different from don’t forget, so he probably isn’t the one singing it, at least. Either way, this means “don’t forget” isn’t saying to not forget about memories of someone, but to not forget that someone is still out there for you.
And the three figures are probably Kris, Susie, and Ralsei, considering they are the three main characters of Deltarune, the game which Don’t forget is the main theme. And you can only see the drawing if you talked to clam girl, who mentions someone named Suzy.
Another thing that should be mentioned is that they say Gaster fell into his creation. While most people think of it as like a slip and fall kind of thing, there's also the whole "Fallen Down" thing. Monsters who are about to die of old age lay down immobile. I wish that bit of lore wasn't a secret in the files TBH, it makes the "fallen down" part of the True Lab notes make a bit more sense.
ОтветитьI swear Gaster is just toby trolling the fanbase.
ОтветитьI do dislike that people always assume that Gaster is evil. Just like everything on this video, it could be true, yet not confirmed.
Ответитьfans will take anything and run for the hills with it, and will choose to die on said hill for it.
Ответитьfun fact: sans is never said to have 1 hp, the fandom made it up
ОтветитьI would really appreciate a video that covered everything about UT and DR that's outside of the games themselves. Like the tarrot cards, Toby's interview where he turned into a dog, etc.
ОтветитьWhat do you mean, they're "expecting" you to give them money? What are they, the mafia?
Ответитьi wouldnt be surprised if toby has to use the Fandoms design for Gaster to avoid backlash
ОтветитьGaster's creation is probably The Core and he fell into it
ОтветитьI like the popular theory that gaster's shards are characters we already know of
ОтветитьThe photo of three people and the statement "don't forget" written on it could very well be our trio from Deltarune in my opinion. To my understanding, Deltarune was conceptualised before Undertale was. But then comes the obvious question, "why?" Why would Sans have a photo of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei?
ОтветитьI can't wait for the day that Gaster is revealed (if ever) to be not a skeleton and the whole fandom melts. No holes in their hands either.
ОтветитьIf gaster broke jevil and spamton
Who broke gaster?
My personal headcanon is that Gaster is canonically a scrapped character and that Alphys is his replacement as the royal scientist role (it’s acknowledged multiple times by multiple characters that UNDERTALE is canonically a game) and him being “shattered across time and space” is whatever remains of him in the files (his stats, Gaster’s theme, and more)
ОтветитьI always thought Alphys was building on Gaster's work, y'know, like any scientist does. She's not stupid, she'd read the writings of the person working on the barrier problem before her. He (or his predecessor, if applicable, the timeline is vague) probably had worked out that the Barrier was soul-powered, probably had a hand in the soul jars in the barrier room, etc. Alphys then studied that - maybe even before being the royal scientist, as part of building Mettaton - and built on his theories and experiments to devise her next experiments, which we know the results of.
