Hot take! I don't think the DoG needs a new sprite at all and even then, I'm not a fan of the drastical change of direction the concept art is heading. I prefer something like Infernum's sprite much more, it's still the same old DoG, but even more emposing.

These have been on the works for over a year and I really wasn't sure if they would ever put them in, but now that I'm doing a playthrough, I noticed that the relics you get after defeating the bosses have their redesigns instead of their current sprites, so yeah, at long last we may finally be close

I despise the hivemind and aquatic scourge resprites tbh, I hope someone makes a mod where you can select certain bosses to retain their old skin
