This is a wake up call that as parents we should be strict. How can kids leave home at midnight without supervision.

My first guess was a gas leak, or Carbon monoxide poisoning. That, or bootleg booze (Methanol, AKA Wood Alcohol). Either way, sheepish establishment owner is likely in BOATLOADS of Trouble.

So either the tear gas killed them, they were poisoned, or both.

It's really a good question what free drinks were being passed around. In India there was already a lot of deaths. Disinfectants are mixed with lemonade. Burning it yourself is classic and methanol can be produced in the process. It has to be worked really carefully and whether young people can do it etc. The prices are also crazy, alcohol then only costs cents. What amazes me that the dead look so untouched. I would expect to vomit. I'm looking forward to the toxic tests. Such drinks are of course a matter of trust and I'm afraid the young people still don't see the dangers. You may be expecting a headache, vomiting. But not with death at the welcome shot. The whole thing is really tragic.

The only thing that would kill a group of people like that especially young healthy people where they sat would be some type of gas or poisoned air or carbon monoxide. drinking toxic alcohol would take a long time and people would not all die at the same time.

More logical sequence of events is that the teargas suffocated the 21 and then some started to run out in chaos.

The teens falling asleep and passing out before the crowd was dispersed is VERY strange. Was this before or after the tear gas? I am NOT one who falls for conspiracy stories but something is fishy. Another thing - if this had been white children in Europe or the US, it would be a MAJOR story all over the world media. My heart breaks for the dear children who died so needlessly.

Why does NO ONE KNOW HOW THEY DIED! How did they die? the odds of 21 people in one place and time all drinking themselves to death is like 10 billion to 1. so we can assume they bought the same tainted drugs and all died due to bad drugs.

It's obvious that the bartenders poisoned those kids and killed them. The bar owner and the bartenders should be charged with 20 counts of murder.

Do 13 year old have to drink in the name of final exams , if they were university students , I would understand that the age allows them. .most south africans lack good home training and parents are just something else.

I listened and listened over and over again at this broadcast and one thing I’m getting here is that those learners who jumped out of the windows lied about the teargas because according to the cameras in the VIP lounge some of the learners started passing out just before the tear gas was disbursed so which means one of those students or two of them used a chemical as an experiment towards other learners but instead things went south. So all those who jumped out of the window need to be interrogated because they’re the only ones who can answer all this because they might be guilty and then people are blaming the owner of the establishment.Those learners escaped from the seen in the middle of the night then why was the tragedy only reported the next morning two from those learners who escaped know something and their legal guardians know because kids tend to run to their parents with the truth whenever they’re in danger and evil parents just remain silent for the sake of their evil kids deeds. This is how I see it.

So what was the cause of death? Lol

So drugs is the short answer. Fentanyl, heroin, ketamine or some other crazy pill. Word of advice: Dont do drugs
