Plauge dogs is one of the few movies that show hard lives of animals(like watership down, animal farm, bambi and animals of farthing wood even tough these were series) its possible to create a animated movie that has realism in it, like blood, blood is normal in our enviorment but some animators dont want blood since it would be to dark, but watership down, plauge dogs and animals of farthing wood prooved that blood is normal and yeah, thats why i respect realistic movies with animals more than today animations

Was listening to this when my grandmother passed away and felt so uplifted since she was no longer suffering and because of a good buddy of mine it was ill see you later on down the road instead of a goodbye

I remember watching Plague Dogs in 2018 at my grandmothers. When the ending happened, I felt... so lost. Just immersible sadness overcame me at that moment. Looking back now, I miss those times, even though they weren't the best at all.

This song is about the people who have suicidal thoughts or even had been decided "to do it" once. When they're hitting something that's looks seemingly as a dead bottom and there's no visible chance to any hope, somehow, from somewhere and nowhere life begins to thrive inside. Again. Like a second wind it's waking you up and pushing forward. When it's seems to be the irreversible end, something is pushing your in the back. Like a hand of God that's saving you in the last moment. That's why it's sounds so surrealistic, muggy, like a mind that had been lost, enveloped in the mist in the beginning and then making more tempo just to become ecstatic in the end, when death losing it's grip and the man went "suddenly" free.

beautiful song for a beautiful movie. The plague dogs isn't a sad movie, but rather bittersweet... it is a movie about friendship, it is a movie about two individuals who had every reason to give up and hate this cruel world, but they didn't stop fighting.... not once did they give up. It's a story about sacrifice and brotherly love. It's a story about the cruel reality of this world, but the beauty and peace that comes with death. God bless each and every one of you <3

Welp, I'm learning this song! I'm also not going to think too hard about the guy who didn't get the memo to treat all guns like they're loaded. I can't get over that sceene for multiple reasons. Should have known better than to think there was a chance of happiness in the movie. Given that "Going home" is a somewhat often used metaphor for death, it would appear that they died, which seriously the happiest ending that could possibly come to the dogs given the context. Is that depressing to say? I feel like that should be a depressing statement but I'm smiling. Aaand I'm broken, well, I should probably get to learning this.

My family friend Melinda had passed away 3 years ago exactly. Whenever I am sad I listen to this song and think of her. She suffered depression yet always seemed to have a smile on her face and I feel she did finally get to leave this cruel world behind and live in the afterlife peacefully and happy. Though it does stab my heart, and I’m tearing up while writing this and hearing this song, but I’m glad she is at peace now.

A gospel-oriented spiritual song that would be covered great by a black vocalist or group...if they only knew it existed.
