Thanks for this video Dave! My dad gave me a Versatip for my birthday, and it's been a while since I soldered anything, so your video has given me a bit of knowledge and confidence 😊
ОтветитьI just use the exhaust on heat shrink no point in changing the tip
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this video. Much appreciated:)
ОтветитьCan I ask if this can be used to melt glass for making glass beads, please. I appreciate your response.
ОтветитьGreat review. Complete and very qualitative video. Thank you very much !🤩
ОтветитьHATE child safety junk.
I would either super glue the safety or just break/cut it off.
Would be nice to have a fuel window....
I wish every tutoriol was like this 👌

ОтветитьCan the soldering tip be used with solder paste that comes in a syringe?
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьGreat review. Thank you.
ОтветитьHi Dave. Just got this tool. My focus is for wood burning. You mentioned pyrography tips video in the future. Do you have that video?
ОтветитьNICE ONE
ОтветитьHi Dave can you tell me the best kind of fule to buy for this and where to find it. I bought a butane canister but it's for a camping stove and doesn't have the right attachment head to fill up the touch with.
Ответитьbro the hot air tip legit spits out flames how is it hot air
Ответитьthe other cordless dremmel doesn't have enough power
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьVery professional presentation !! Thanks a lot !!
ОтветитьNice review, thanks
ОтветитьI bought one of these a few months ago thinking it would be ideal as I didn't want to be tethered to a cord. They are OK but one down side and I think its worth mentioning is the heat exhaust. You have to be mindful of this particularly if you are working close to other parts or structures which can ignite, melt or burn easily, including your fingers! I on sold mine unit and went for a 50w lithium battery soldering iron. 100% better.
ОтветитьWich place madurai india
ОтветитьHello, I am making jewellery at home and want to do a little soldering. I am considering the versatip based on your video but only concern is some people are saying versatip is not good enough to solder silver jewellery only base metals? Is this true? Thanks.

Hi Dave - what’s the best silver and gold solder to use for soldering jewellery? Thanks
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this, much easier to understand than reading the instructions booklet!
ОтветитьGreat video didn't know about this product
ОтветитьBrilliant help. Thank yoy
ОтветитьSuch a measured and planned video. And so refreshing not to have to tolerate a raving "Hi guys" American.
David, Tasmania, Australia.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьA useful video, brilliantly crisp. Thanks
Ответитьlove the video great presentation well informative no dribble like a lot of other You Tubers
ОтветитьThank you, that was really a great help!
ОтветитьMate I have one and been using it as an auto electrician for several years. When you have the soldering tip on theres a small vent hole on the side. Flame just protrudes and its great for heating wire up so the solder sticks and also the best for heat shrink.
Then that travelling cap you spoke of. It is for when its hot. A safety cap. Put it on when the tip is roaring hot but do not put away till its cooled.
Incredible demo 🙏 thank you
ОтветитьI bought one today to solder some brass strip, your video was the only one I watched to convince me this was the right tool.
When I showed it to my girlfriend, I described the cutting tip as being the part that 'excises and cauterizes skin tags' and she called me out.
Regarding pyrography, I need to search for my old electric pyrography iron that failed, I reckon the tips have the same thread.
why did i meet two types of nozzles for DREMEL VERSA TIP .Please answer?
ОтветитьThanks for the review! Anyone ever told you you look a bit like Anthony Hopkins?
ОтветитьSeriously, I could listen to you read the operating instructions for an industrial grain conveyor belt, and I'd pay for the privilege. What a lovely voice. Also, I learned everything I need to know about my new Dremel. Result!!
ОтветитьWait, you guys use this to solder? I use this to flex on peasants lighting my cigars.
ОтветитьI have one but I haven't used it
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks
ОтветитьOOO NEW SUB 🤗✨💚
ОтветитьBut I realize you can substitute this butane soldering gun for an electric one. Plus the hot air attachment is great for frozen locks in the winter time. I have to get this!
