Honestly, Elden Ring's legacy dungeon bosses are pretty nasty, to the point where going back to play any DS entries you missed makes them feel easy in comparison. I regret skipping DS3 because now I finally got around to playing it I'm breezing through the game, only having trouble with the regular dungeon enemies due to them whittling me down as I explore. I'm still having fun all the same.

After playing Sekiro, Elden Ring, and Dark Souls 3, I gave Dark Souls Remastered a try. It was by far the most annoying to play despite being easier. Running 3 minutes to a boss every time you die is one of the most annoying video game experiences i've had.

I still don't really understand why so many people say DS is hard. I mean the gameplay is a little complicated but once you get the hang of it and you memorize where all the enemies and harder parts are it becomes really easy. like people get supe discouraged because of dying a lot but in the end the only thing you lose by sying is your currency, which is not that important either. like you can level up your character and weapons and then challenge bosses again and again without drawbacks
