Okay, hold up, Xiao and Wanderer are not Tier 3. Sure, they are niche, but they are really damn good in their niche, and comparing them to the stuff you put in Tier 2, I just don’t see the justification.

When Fighting bosses: Meh. Probably same as every other anemo unit for Res Shred. Tier 2

When fighting mobs: TIER -VE.

xiao in the same tier as dori is a big yikes.

While anemo is not great as a dps element I believe that xiao and wander should be in the tier 2 because xiao does great in aoe situations and scaramouche is arguably the best character for exploring and can be used for some pretty awesome skips in one time domains

Venti is definitely underrated here. When things are venti-able, he is genuinely one of the most broken units in the game. When they aren't venti-able, he's actually still really good. He brings VV, Energy, and he can hold elegy all while doing a bunch of damage on his own. His burst is aimable so if you're whiffing every time it's more of a skill issue than anything. The grouping is just a bonus on top of what is already a very good kit.

Xiangling continues to be overestimated by the community because she is a very strong DPS character. She might be off-field, but make no mistake that she is the main dps in her teams. The problem with XL is that she isn't a team-enabler like Bennett, XQ, Yelan, Fischl, etc. or a strong supporting character. She tends to have teams built around her, as opposed to filling an important role. She mostly requires Bennett to pop off (as opposed to other top tier units who don't need another unit to do their job very well) and is VERY energy hungry.

Funny how all the best characters are mostly the early 4*s 💀

To compensate for not having infinite number of tiers, you should give value to the order you put characters in every tier. The left one imshiuld be stronger than the right one. This way you can effectively rank every unit.

so nilou functions under "very situational" and is in tier 1, but venti who also is more broad but is still "situational" is tier 2 yet you stated earlier "I have to keep my logic consistent with the tiers"

What is Kaya master of? He is bad MDPS as even worse as a off DPS he has such a little aoe + low damage. Venti does 2x more damage and 10 x more range. Venti is at least 20 times better than Kaya, Why da fak they are on the same tear? This makes you look like an idiot.

You know what? If with that whole roster before you first unit that you want to put into trash is Eula, and 2 times, then you can get your well deserved dislike. There are literally 3 other categories above Tier 5 that she can fit into

Trash units are: Thoma, Dehya, Xinyan which is funny as they all are pyro but then it begs the question why Tier 4 is even there as they all are more of a "don't have good team" victims + "don't have artifact/personal dmg"
They can work... and honestly C6 Xinyan might be better than C6 Thoma, if you want a shielder that apply pyro time to time.... When i think about it, her damage is also bigger if we focus on single hit burst dmg, but Thoma can probably win with reactions, so they are quite equaly bad and good, they just don't fit into any team, but if you want shieldeder, and have pyro resonance, they can help you

With Dehya i don't know. If there will be someone that can give her ability to do reaction dmg (cant use her ult with Xinqiu, Yelan or Beidou)
Then maybe. But i guess what she really needs is artifact set as her current damage in ult requires you to add in your head a sound of rubber duck each time she lands a hit and you see her small numbers...

Yeah, Dehya prob deserves the most to be in Trash category as of now, Thomasus and Xin-sus-yan are 4 stars, they deserve lighter treatment.

And honestly, putting Healers, Supports and Main DPS into one chart and ranking who is better who is worse is pointless and stupid. They have different roles to achieve. There should be 3 different tabs focused on 3 different metrics (Healing, Support, DPS)

as a xiao main, as much as it hurts to say this, i would put xiao below wanderer in terms of tier lists (probably more bumping wanderer up than dropping xiao down again because xiao realistically shouldn’t be below tier 3 and imo actually should be in tier 2). This is mainly because xiao relies so heavily on his burst and his best support (faruzan) not only sucks at generating energy, but also requires a lot for herself. Even though Faruzan’s energy problem is alleviated through her c4, it doesn’t help with xiao’s energy problems and running an er bow like favonius works actively against her support since she wants a high base atk. In contrast, wanderer relies solely on his skill (which has a basically non existent cooldown due to team rotations and bursts) and his second BiS artifact set comes from the most resin efficient domain in the game. Also, wanderer has the advantage of not having as clunky a playstyle and also having most of his best supports being 4 stars like faruzan, bennett, xiangling, xinqiu, yunjin, thoma while xiao really only has the option of faruzan and bennett as 4 star supports (trust me ive tried most if not all the others. ive tried almost every xiao team comp even freeze xiao)


tldr: xiao should be in tier 2 imo and wanderer is better than xiao so either tier 1 or specified (vocally since i know vars made a whole rant on not having too many subtiers) to be better even though not tier 1 level

Zhongli is more of a "personal preference" for someone like me who doesn't know how to dodge and doesn't want to learn zhongli is like turning on an option in settings to take no dmg

I run a taser party with c6 fischl, xingqui, sucrose and c2 bennett. Am I a whale? No, I just got “unlucky” back in the day trying to get venti, childe, hu tao, and kazuha during their debuts and reruns. Now I don’t think I’d exchange them for anything

I know I am late to the party, but what is the rationale for keeping all roles in the same tier list, instead of having one tier list for each role? Comparing subdps to supports to mana batery to main dps seems wasteful. This way you could also rate characters that can perform different roles according to each of them.
