Not done with the video, and I really appreciate your exposition. However, I would contest describing some of the changes in Canute as growth. A person occupies many roles in their life, and while Canute adapts more to his role as a king, I think he loses something very real when it comes to being just a person. I can only really see this as a sad thing, even when it might be more suited to his situation

This video analysis is amazing. It’s presented well with great editing and structure, but the constant need to make jokes every few seconds really brings it down. Humor is subjective but most of the jokes are painfully unfunny to me personally. I’m fine with jokes being in a video, and I can recognize that maybe the humor isn’t for me, but it’s really hard to excuse it when there’s constant jokes being made throughout the video. It made getting through the video pretty painful, and if I had to guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea either leading to stunted channel growth. Again, great video and analysis, I thought it was top tier but I do think the humor needs to be toned back for me to recommend this video to anyone.

Sure Thorfinn is cool, and the idea of him converting and going all Christian following in his father's footsteps is novel, but the second season of Vinland Saga still isn't worth watching.

I actually found Vinland Saga through another series, Pumpkin Scissors, which is probably a little more uneven but it definitely has a lot of similar things to say about war and violence in a slightly more fantastical (but also pseudohistorically closer) type world. Thanks for the video! It reminded me of how much I love Vinland Saga.

That's the entire point of bearing the cross and Jesus Christ dying for us...infact the entire Bible's narrative is about the fall, the sin, and the redemption of Mankind. To hate God because of suffering and sin shows a lack of understanding about the world. The world will not be this way forever. God promises that both a new heaven and a new Earth will come when Jesus Christ returns, and His children will be restored. The idea of evil existing in essence proves that a ultimate good must also exist. Sin is also a result of our free will. Love cannot exist without choice to love and so it is up to our free will to make the right choice. Finally, God could stop sin right now but that would involve killing all people on Earth. He is patiently waiting for as many people as possible to turn to Him and embrace Jesus Christ before the end.
