I did always wonder why Worf, supposedly a badass Klingon warrior, always got his butt kicked. I don't ever remember seeing him win a fight on the ship. He always ended up on his butt.

Ive seen every episode twice and never noticed the Riker maneuver. Im truly flabbergasted

The funny thing is that the Galaxy Class was basically designed to be a Mariot convention center that could defend itself.

P.S.- Picard’s family fled France during some war and settled in England, eventually returning to France to reclaim their ancestral lands. It’s mentioned in Picard season 3.

Ngl, when the Kardashians first became famous, i would always think Cardassians, and immediately become confused. This video reminded of that. Hilarious! It also makes me wonder if anyone ever make a Star Trek spoof with Kardashians instead of Cardassians, or a Kardashian show with Cardassians replacing them. Either one could be a win.

In my 1993 Mechanical Engineering class, Engineering Science Lab, we were put in groups. Each group could make its own ground rules. My group got so fed up with my talking about Star Trek all the time that they made the rule,
“No talking about Star Trek before, during, or after meetings”

In May 1994, I saw my college friend Stephanie on the way to class and said, “Oh nooooooooo! The most horrible fate that could ever besiege mankind!” She bust out laughing.

When the “Starfleet Admiral” talked with Data about how annoying Vulcans were, I did not know that they were suggesting he was a crewmember of the classic Star Trek. ST: TNG was my first entry into the ST franchise. I didn’t watch the classic until after I started watching TNG.

Every time i start to think that Riker is slightly less fukboi than Kirk and i start to respect the former a bit more (that is, to dislike hime lil bit less), then comes "the Riker maneuver" and all starts again from, that is, i lose all hardly built respect for him.

Fun Fact: Jonathan Frakes had some serious problems with his back and that‘s why he sat down on chairs that way. Once he and the producers saw that it was lovingly dubbed the Riker Manouver, he kept going with it.

I watched this the week it came out and hated Star Trek at the time for some stupid reason, but then during 2020 I watched TNG out of curiosity and I'm a huge Trekkie now, revisiting this now is amaziong.
