My mother in law passed away in 2017. One of my most treasured possessions is a stuffed Longhorn doll that sat on top of her big screen every time Texas played. She gave it to me because that was our thing. Watching ballgames together. The 05 season was obviously special because the Horns won it all. I was happy for her. It was special to her. I say this because I played football for Arkansas in the late 80s early 90s. We played Texas. I miss her to this day and still break out the Longhorn doll for Nana this time of year. It sits between my two Razorback Cotton Bowl jerseys on the wall. But it means everything to me.

Not really a Texas fan, but that was a very good documentary. I’m a fan of great football games and that one is a top 3 of all time. In my opinion!

Make a doc about them going to the playoff. 4th and two, he can go dumber, maybe that is why he passed it in the super bowl.

That last series by Texas was nothing short of the greatest series to take them down the field to win I've ever witnessed.

I have seen football players influence a game before. I have seen players, with help of their team, take over games.
I have never seen one player win a football game by himself like that before or since.(The Championship Game vs USC)I called relatives whom I knew had probably gone to bed or changed the channel after it looked like USC would win again. "Put the game back on!"
I am a lifelong Saints and LSU football fan.I love me some Drew,Burrow,etc...But Vince Young is the only person I have ever seen win a game by himself.

If you saw Vince Young at Madison.......you already knew what he was capable of.

VY at Madison High School was a grown ass man among boys. So what he did at UT was not surprising for many.

Give him ANYONE other than Jeff Fisher and his NFL career is one of the greatest.

He was Pat Mahomes before Pat Mahomes. The league just hadn't arrived at that point. He would be a NO DOUBT number one pick in 2023.

I'm an SEC fan so I don't watch many Big 12 games other than Texas-Oklahoma every year and then the playoffs but every college football fan is familiar with UT football. To be honest I don't understand how UT isn't on the same level as Alabama, Ohio State, or USC. All the talent in Texas and then the money and support at that school and it seems like UT should be the most successful program in the nation but that Vince Young team is their only national title in my lifetime. And since then they have been a lot closer to the SEC version of UT than they are Alabama, Oklahoma, etc. I don't understand it because it seems like they should be in the playoffs every year. I don't follow them closely enough to know but I'm guessing that it comes down to making the wrong coaching hires for the last couple of decades just like the other UT before that school finally found their man. I do think that's gonna change once they make the move to the SEC. It's not the same as the Big 12. I don't want to sound like an arrogant SEC but overall it's a tougher conference than the Big 12. But even though the competition is gonna be tougher I expect Texas is gonna be forced to adapt and they will win more in the SEC than they have been winning in the Big 12. I could be wrong but I see them being on the same level fairly soon as Bama, Georgia, and LSU. Texas has everything they need to succeed like those schools, probably even more than those teams. I'm looking forward to them joining the SEC and developing into a perennial national power. And I think most SEC fans aren't crazy about Texas A&M anyway so UT will probably end up being the preferred of the two after a few years in the conference. And it really seems like UT and A&M genuinely despise each other so we can't wait to see them playing each other every year again

Wow with all due respect you both held those participation ribbons in high regard huh. Sounds like a socialist game of spreading the wealth. The only change I'd like to see in college football especially since the playoffs going to 12 best teams. Meaning the hell with conference champions. Who cares if you're a conference champion when your conference sucks. And stop with this most deserving teams mess. That's how TCU made it in. Smfh! Oh and last thing get ur hand others pocket. Worry bout ur self with all that splitting up someone else money.
