I dont understand why people like the Telluride so much, the Palisade is much nicer, classier, more luxurious, bossy looking. The Telluride looks a bit like a land rover/range rover, but the front headlights, the shape, are a major turn off for me. It just looks like a bad design, makes the grille tooo long.

For me the Palisade blows the Telluride out of the water as far as the interior and the feel inside and driving. It may be because I'm 6'-4. But as far as looks I was torn between the 2 exteriors. I'm glad I test drove both because the Telluride felt so much cheaper to me and the lot had it priced way above the Palisade. I guess it's a thing KIA is/was doing, jacking up the price and then they work with you on lowering it. I thought that was kind of scammy of KIA.

Can you please say honestly how Hyundai Palisade v6 gdi engine is? Is this very good quality v6 engine? Will this engine run 500k to 600k km? I want to know because I have a confusion to choose from Hyundai Palisade V6, Volkswagen Atlas sel V6, and Honda Pilot Elite V6, please give me the right information because I want to choose a V6 car which will run perfectly 500k to 600k km without any big issues

Hate my Pallisade from day one. I’ve had both mechanical and service issues. I also hate some of the features.
I’ve in the Notheast, this morning it was zero. Used the car starter and it doesn’t run long enough to defrost the windshield and the car shuts off! Can’t wait to trade it!

dislikes for me, no power folding mirrors as well as would be nice to have a info screen controller knob where the drive mode knob is. Drive mode should be in the info screen software, not taking up all that room for something most will not use.

The 29 mpg highlander is hybrid , non hybrid is the same mpg, the gdi engine is not a problem , it is an advantage over the ones with turbo , when turbo fails it’s expensive to replace .

Do not compare hybrid highlander to this non-hybrid

We just took my wife's 2021 Palisade Calligraphy on a road trip from NY to NC and back. We averaged 27.5 mpg both ways. For a vehicle of this size, I've got no complaints.

What are you thoughts on the Palisade NOT have a shifter verses Highlander or Telluride??? This have been a dealer breaker for me. I don't trust the push button shifter

the stitching on the car seats seems really bad. I see lather is loose from alot of places. Rest of the car is just AMAZING!

Don't trust the computer read out on mpg...my 2018 Sorento AWD FE 3.3 liter is about 3 mpg's less then the computer read out. I keep detailed info on all my cars...from fill up to fill up ( miles driven divided by fuel replaced ) is the only way to be sure...Maybe 15 in the city. and never over 26 on the highway at different speed, .going over 75 mph seems to use more fuel....I like to keep it around 2000 rpm's and just under 70 mph...

A Telluride with the Palisade interior would be a win.

Yes, the Telluride does look better. With that DI, valve coking is a possibility, and that’s why I went with a Lexus; it’s got DI and port injection.

the look of the palisade is way nicer than the telluride i think . telluride looks like a wanna be range rover i love the range rover but the telluride looks like it got cut off at the back with a huge machete lol ! palisade all the way especially the calligraphy model [thumbs up]

Yes, VERY subjective.

But that's why I like what the Hyundai Motor Group did with Kia. They made sure that both designs went different ways. One with a more truck-like, beefy look, and the other had more curves and a somewhat elegant appearance. Something for both groups - granted the only downside is if you like something about the interior of the Palisade and yet you like the exterior of the Telluride (or vice versa ) ~ Not much you can do about that conundrum.

I actually don't mind Kia's take on it but I do prefer the Palisade.

For those of you who played and remember this - the lane detection beeping reminds me almost exactly of the notification beep from the old late 90's Roller Coaster Tycoon PC game.
Thought that was pretty funny. hahaha

Is there a smell? We are looking for a larger SUV I currently drive the Volvo XC40 so this was one of our options. But now that people are complaint about the smell of the seats it’s a turn off.

Then get the telluride, you're old fashion .I'll take the pallisade,HAHAHA
