Good explanation in the begining, Clearly this was for apple users. I edited a video in Davinci Resolve, trying to play the video From a USB Flash Drive on to a TV, Can't get it working. It's currently in MOV with exFAT format. Any advice for me please ?

hey John thanks for the great explanation. Now I think you are exactly the right for my question because I'm just despairing. Does it even make sense to record with my gh5ii in MOV if I have to convert it to MP4 later anyway because davinci doesn't recognize the codec in the free version? Since I can record but equal in MP4 or do I have there a thinking error?

thank you for the video! would like to ask something, i admit i got a little confused towards the end, when we are suddenly introduced to this new concept, at list in this video, which is- the preset. what is the preset exactly? assuming it is optional pre-existing pairings of container and codec.... but then another thing is a bit confusing to me- why is h.264 written as "format" and not codec? i thought mp4 is the container\format.
lastly- is that a jump cut when you touch on the mov and turn it back to mp4 or.... what type of trickery is that? thanks! (:
