It's cool that alastors mo is collecting smiles. I noticed at the beginning the victim is shown to have "x eyes" and alastor smiles only after the victim smiles. It sort if implies that alastor chose his victims by how their smile looked, or maybe he would only kill the people he was able to make smile. Tldr, if you smile around him, you're the next mark.
