The one thing wrong in this scene is that he shot a woman running and holding her child , I would have shot him right his head with my rem 700 308

I think the intercept lead was wrong on the woman running with the kid. But I never tried it.

the shooter makes sure to fine the real target
goes back so she is not the first one killed, pauses to make sure he gets the one that counts
what the book does right in this scene
does not spoil that the shooter is not the guy who gets framed

i love the author for this book series
there is one were the bad guy is a serial killer who is targeting women who left the military after a sexual assult case. and leaving their bodies in tubs full of green army paint
the book has chapters from the perspective of the serial killer... except its in second person. so it says things like "you enjoyed it" really makes the skin crawl
thats skill, knowing you can make the audiances skin crawl just by using second person

I like the scene, but it shouldn't have been at the start of the film. It gave away the mystery immediately. I would've preferred Jack slowly piecing the answers together, then inserting this scene to show the audience what actually happened.

One thing I don't see enough people talking about, is the sound design... The guns sound so realistic and 'booming' some of the best I've ever heard in an action movie..

this sniper scene is amazing. staring with the echo of that gun shot , incredible sound very real. he does a great job on the cheek rest on the stock and if i m not wrong i can actually hear this guy breathing while taking aim with that 50 sight scope. i do also see that is a 308 round if i m not mistaken . that recoil could of been a little bit more harder but again it is a semi auto and weight contributes to it depends on rifle. about the glasses , snipers will def be taking those off because of course reflection is your enemy in sniper but this i guess was to make this guy look more evil but in real life those will not be wore by a sniper. lastly , semi vs bolt action, yes of course bolt action for a sniper is always , but again making the guy here look more evil and having that long capacity magazine give more character. one more important item here which is deadly. this guy is up there with a sniper semi auto rifle shooting bunch of rounds . now i know the movie story is to make it seen like it wast a murder and it was just a serial killer shooting random people. fact is that a sniper will care first about his target and if possible a second distraction but again it is a movie and it fits the scene perfectly i give this scene a great 10 because it is very real making . there are other movie sniper scenes outhere like gemime man from will smith which is total gargabe. i mean it stars out great but the shot is is so lame , that only in movie or cartoons and no sniper will risk doing that job def . a moving person vs a speeding train i mean come one lol anyways thanks for reading folks i will do more movies reviews soon

plot twist: the guy on the bench had the roses for the girl who bought the watch which was also for the guy on the bench, thats their meeting place. the girl paid for cash for the watch because the husband will know its not for him. bench guy and watch girl have an illicit affair and both of them got killed.

That got him 5 Stars FAST.

I remember watching this movie with my American girlfriend and when this scene happened, she told me ironically that now I know why she left the police and her life in America.

That is the scariest thing I can imagine.

I gotta say this whole thing kinda reminds me of the University of Texas Tower shooting and the assassination of JFK

I seen this part when I was only about 7 to 9 years and it kinda had me feeling messed up seeing random innocent people getting killed by an assassin and the part that really screwed me up was when the guy was shooting at the mom when she had her daughter with her and I was hoping that he wouldn’t kill the daughter too.
