feels great i just picked up my r5 5600x brand new sealed at 160 for my first build.

AMD should've been competing with itself on older 6 core CPU models. 4 core are good but not really when you can get an upgrade for about the same price if let's say have a 1200 and easily get a 2600 on the same motherboard for about the same price as the 4xxx which without an APU are especially worthless even for those who are building a late stage AM4 platform and in the future with AM5 get a massive upgrade to a AM4 R5 or R7 and dedicated graphics card for dirt cheap.

It's sad that the ryzen 3300x will absolutely demolish the 4100, and most likely the 4500. The 3300x boosts to 4.3ghz and has 16mb of L3 cache in conjunction with pcie 4.0. AMD appears to have taken a monumental step backward with those two skus.

Really happy about the x370 compatibility. There is not a single motherboard out there offering anything near the features of my Gigabyte Gaming K7, and most that have even half the features cost at least twice as much.

AMD already lost myself as a customer. I was going with a 5800X on my build but the 12600K is just so much better.

If AMD gives us even better chips, then i may build a second build.

As much as I want to buy these CPUs the fact that their sockets will be outdated by next year makes me have second thoughts.

When you say graphics has been disabled, are you saying that the hardware still exists in the chip? And if that's the case is it possible for someone to figure out how to enable the graphics for those processors?

The 5700x is a pretty interesting option since the heat and efficiency benefits of the lower TDP could make it a better choice for some builds than the 5800x.

I'm REALLY wondering why they didn't just include a wraith stealth cooler with the 5700x, since it has a TDP of 65 W just like the 5600x, and even WAY older chips, all the way back to first gen Ryzen. For us Small Form Factor people, this makes a BIG difference for cooler compatibility and sizing. If i can cool this with a smaller air cooler, that would make a HUGE difference.

Sadly those new AMD CPUs arnt a great news.. actually oposite - its just wasted silicone, as theres is 0 sense of buying them.. like ever! As specs and prices... AM4 socket... they will just rot in shelves.. or will be used on those crappy OEMs tricking pp that they buy new stuff (actually soon to be 2 years old!).. while in reality they buy outdated e-waste paired with other outdated parts

Lol, man Lisa Sue making chess moves time and time again keeping their consumers loyal a little longer. With lots of people being able to get a new zen3 cpu for cheap if they have an older motherboard they can limp it along a little longer, that's amazing. The tech world is about to be so competitive I'm so excited!

Finally, a CPU that can also do 3D graphics! Amazing. The 5800X3D may not be a good deal right now, but it's totally future-proofed for when computer games become fully 3D. Intel fanboys are weeping, realizing that not one Intel CPU has 3D, and all they can run are business applications and side-scrolling games. 3D is the future, people, and AMD is ahead of the curve. 3D! whooo!

There's about to be a crazy amount of CPUs for the AM4 platform. It's mind-boggling.

I literally ordered the 5600x for 236 euros just a few days ago and now I hear this. Do i wait a month to get the 5500 and save like 50-80 euros? It's gonna be paired with a 3060ti mostly for gaming.

With Am5 around the corner, this is a lovely time to build a rig or workstation on Am4. Ddr4 being more affordable, and a Alderlake always going to have issues with some older software and games. This just sealed the deal for me.

Will soon be building a cheap work rig. Would be nice to see 3100 and 4100 against each other, as it seems both will be available here to about the same-ish price.

I feel like these products are a little late to the party. But hey, it's good to have more options.

Thankfully the gpu prices have been high for so long. I have a zen 1 apu and was waiting for a GPU before I upgraded my cpu to a 3600 or 3700x. But now with this news I will just wait and upgrade to zen 3 (zen 2 is so expensive right now anyway). My $50 B350 motherboard is turning out to be a great purchase.

The 4600g is of some interest ,, if the ACTUAL price is good then it would make for a good VALUE system using a B450 board
