Yeah, there are no vegan options in Madrid presumably since they only produce about 50% of the veggies in the UE. Have you heard of olives (some thirty varieties, maybe the most typical tapa of them all), fried almonds, toasted peanuts, aspargus, pickles (tons of them as well), Padron peppers, aubergines from Almagro, potatoes with alioli, mushrooms, pisto...? Come on.

Where did you get that nonsense about the rooms in the Oriente Palace were built for the king to change rooms everyday? The royal palace was intended not only for hosting the royal family (and his numerous staff) but, more importantly, all the beaurocracy needed for the gvmt of the Spanish Empire.

Did you use a museum pass?

Travel to Spain and not taste cortado coffe, bombon, con leche etc is incredible. But not taste spanish delicious food, spanish tortilla, bravas, croquetas, albóndigas, al ajillo, ibérico ham, chorizo etc is a crime 😂😂

I am living in Madrid since last Summer and it is an amazing city full of art and life and it is also a gorgeous and stylish city. .Alingside London Madrid is definitely my favourite city in Europe

Lovely city, particularly liked the park you visited and what a great hotel to stay in .. always lovely to have your own balcony and that rooftop pool would be a great bonus during a summer stay.
