Little space is left for Heisenberg in the plot...he looks like Wesker to some extent = a biological engineered man who wishes to rebel against his creator, even though only Wesker accomplished that.

Okay, I just got the game, but god almighty, Heisenberg is absolutely my favorite character in this game, his demeanor, his personality, his abilities, and the way he talks is just *chef’s kiss* Magnifico

Heisenberg didn't deserve shit from Ethan and I'm genuinely glad Capcom didn't give us a choice to team up with him. At the start of his level it seems dumb that Ethan would miss out on the deal, but one of his final lines shows that he was 100% going to backstab Ethan once Miranda was dead. He literally says "You'll meet Rose in the afterlife, after I kill Miranda her power is mine." or something to that effect, which is downright admitting to wanting to kill her for her power.
I can get why people hate the decision to not give us a choice, but honestly if Capcom did give us the choice people would be saying the same thing with Zoe and Mia in re7, "oh why oh why did Capcom give us the choice between our loved one and some nobody?????".

Rose ended up being used at the end of the game and she was fine, if only Ethan took his offer, he probably still would’ve been alive; but he wouldn’t have known that, obviously, and the events leading up to the proposal definitely altered his perspective on things + to hear him saying he wanted to use his daughter as a weapon…but damnnnn. bestie even let him go, but Ethan hadda go all guns a-blazing and kill that mf anyways ( probably bc again, he said he’d use his daughter as a weapon, but AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. damn)
