The first time I reached his phase 3, I had the shield so I just blocked him, I beat him first time but I havent turned extreme measures 4 on since 😂😂

My goofy ass really thought Extreme Measures Hades would be the same until the third phase

Beating Hades for the first time is such an amazing feeling, but the feeling it's even better when you beat with extreme measures for the first time. The music absolutely slaps and you get to see his true power, as well as your peak power with either the best build you ever got, or the some absolute beast gameplay. Not much else can top it on the entire gaming scene imo.

If you have the spear equipped during extreme measures and if you can time it correctly, their spear throws clash and cancel each other. That's honestly an epic sight to behold.

I still don't know how I beat him once on extreme measures.... nor could I repeat it ;)

This boss battle has always been a favorite of mine, as I mainly use varatha the eternal spear, it always gave me the feeling of a deadly dance between father and son, spears spinning in tandem with one another, dashing about, and landing devastating blows.
The second phase got me the first time I experienced it, but I got the hang of his attacks and to date, I haven't lost to him yet since he first time.

Then I turned on extremer measures, and holy shit my love for this boss battle increased exponentially. The phase transitioning with those badass guitar riffs, as hades stood back up again. I'll admit I was terrified, but I managed to push through with my stubborn defiance. The exhilarating feeling this game gives you is unmatched.

The shredding God(s) on that last movement better be invited back for Hades 2.

I remember getting to hades, I dont remember much about the 3rd phase, other than Cerberus, but what I DO remember is the 4 palpitations I had during the fight.

almost gave up when i realize hades had a phase 2 and i only had 1 death defiance left
now that i know he has a third phase, i have every reason to kill myself

There are parts of this that are harder than the Doom soundtrack and punchier than Through the Fire and the Flames.

My friends had a wonderful joke for the music which is that each part is for a different member of the family:
Zagreus is First Phase, Hades is Second Phase, and the Third Phase is Persephone.

Why Persephone for third phase? Because she is a Greek Goddess of destruction, and so far all every third phase run feels like it's just moments away until your run is destroyed.
