Funny that if you Watch enough of these videos there’s a strange pattern, people who used to live in it probably 70-60% want it back meanwhile those who didn’t live during the soviet unions numbers are probably reversed. Something to think about

Kinda wierd that most of the people who instantly said no were around the age of 20-40, who probably didn't live in the USSR for most of their lives (or didn't even live in it) but most older people who did had more positive things to say. Like i get it, the ussr had bad things (and a lot of them) and anecdotal evidence isn't everything but still... The difference between the personal experience of the people and the readily available information is kinda wierd

Arrogant Western Europeans and US citizens have nothing to say about this issue. They all tried to explain the positive comments of all the elderly with "longing for their youth". I guess that can't be all about it, right? This video shows very well how a Western-based thought and education system has emerged among young people. Even though Russians are included in Europe, as a society they are not exactly the "Western" we talk about as a concept. Even though Westerners cannot seize land in every place they conquer, they are very successful in sowing their own seeds...

Очень надеюсь , что языковой барьер с приходом новых технологий падет и следом появится независимая или независимые платформы, где люди смогут спокойно общаться. Без всякой я политической ерунды и пропаганды. Что из этого получится трудно сказать, но скоре всего мы к этому потихоньку идём и придём.

Люди кому старшего покаления, правда что можно было на выходные в Крым литать. Отец лет 15 служил в армии и только там давали бесплатные билеты. А так вроде с его слов это было не дёшево и максимум раз в год. ?

Я не жил во время СССР, но мои родители, бабушки и дедушки а а также старшие родственники очень тепло вспоминают те времена, дедушка рассказывал как путешествовал от Узбекистана до Крыма (он был водителем грузовика как я понимаю, вроде аналог современного дальнобойщика) а отец рассказывал детские лагеря и образование в школах то как они хорошо учились и из за этого их всячески поощряли и родители и государство, кстати за то что он был отличником в школе он получил путевку в детский лагерь Артек, он вспоминал как подружился с детьми другой национальности в частности даже с индийцем и с корейцем говорил как в то время у людей не было отвращение к людям иной национальности как сейчас, мать рассказывала как в то время было безопасно и для детей, как они каждую неделю вместе с друзьями отпрашивались от родителей и езжали в кинотеатр смотреть фильмы, другой дедушка говорил как в то время он был инженером в заводе вспоминал как в то время было стыдно быть безработным, люди были трудолюбивыми и честными, люди верили в будущее, а так называемые очереди на товары были только в конце 80 годов, семья с отцовской линии получили 18 сотков участки а семья с маминой линии 13 сотков, всей семьей они построили дома в котором до сих пор живут и мы живем в отцовском доме, вот только пришлось продать половину участка. Дедушка говорил что в то время один человек в семье мог обеспечивать всю семьи и сам он в одиночку обеспечивал семью из двух стариков, жены и 6 детей, а другой дедушка работал инженером и вместе с бабушкой которая работала учителем обеспечивали семью из двух взрослых и 5 детей при том что у семьи было все что тогда было у нормальной семьи и телевизоры и холодильники и автомобили и игрушки для детей и деньги на расходы для детей, а сейчас мы в семье из 6 человек работаем четверо и всё равно приходится бедствовать, мне приходилось несколько лет не поступать в ВУЗ что бы работать, только в этом году из за того что младший брат пошел работать в РФ я смог поступить в ВУЗ и начал учиться, но у меня очень сомнительные предчувствия насчет будущего(

Russians want Empire that will expand its territory threw military conquest. In their minds all Russias problems stem from countries that Russian once controlled gaining independence. This is why Russians do not want to „allow Ukraine be an independent country” and why Russia should „take the Baltic states” -because they are smaller and thus easy to conquer. They don’t want to „conquer” Poland because they feel they cannot fo it. If they gain military power they will change their minds.
That is Russia is a nutshell. Not all Russians think like this but the overwhelming majority do.
It’s a shame because not so long ago every country that boardered Russia hoped that one day Russia will become a democratic country we could have normal economic relations with. Currently we have zero illusions about what Russians want. Which is both sad and sobering. We should arm ourselves and be prepared to prevent Russian agression, conquest and slavery/colonisation as this is what Russians want to bring. I say Russians because There is enough Russians that support and passivly accept such actions of the russian regime and not enough Russians that are willing to do enough to prevent it. The tussian regime just like all previouse russian regimes does not stand on the shoulders of its supporters but on the spinless bodies of peoppe that passivly allow it to do whatever it wants. The suporters are amplified and the opposition is silenced.
Citisens of every country West of Russia would rather dies than allow this cancer to spread into our countries.

Ни один человек, который сказал, что хотел вы возвращения советского союза, не озвучил почему он этого хочет. Все ответы так или иначе сводятся к ностальгии (у нас в России это характеризуют одним выражением "Раньше трава была зеленее"). Эти люди создают очень много проблем для нового поколения (не только в России), продвигая устаревшие идеи из мертвого прошлого в настоящее

During our Indipedence War, soviets helped us with money, guns etc. but their cause was using us as a wall with West Empires and turning our ideology to communism. After 1923, we continued economic and diplomatic relations with soviets but we never accepted their ideology. Atatürk wasn't supporting communism, he was a nationalist. Thank to God a leader as Atatürk came to our nation.

It’s kind of ironic to see that the students who were TAUGHT about it say no, yet the adults who EXPERIENCED it are actually more of saying yes, and even if they don’t, they point out the pluses IF it did return. Edit: in no way am I trying to say I support the communist party, the ways Lenin achieved it, and what Stalin did with absolute power.

Their country was fragmented, hundreds of thousands of regions and resources were separated. The peoples of the USSR were pitted against each other and plunged into wars and terrorism. They were forced to blame the Soviet Union for all this, and not the real culprit - the West. And they don't want to return to their peak of power, technological dominance and authority. A nation doomed to die out or take up arms again and restore its authority and strength - history will show.

The only logical answer: It's complicated.
