Imagine that The House is Not a House but a Living Being as in The Body of The Devil or the Entrance to Hell.🤯
ОтветитьIts a grand stage for Leonardo Island
ОтветитьCan i arrive at a i am on time when i got here coffe mugg!?
Ответитьthis movie is totally overrated . . . Carpenter, King, ElmStreetMaster are x100 better. LoL. Scatman Crothers was only made to appear a 'hero' in this, when in reality, he was a racist as he calls it "azzhole" . he needed to be replaced with an american =D
THEND
Same old things we’ve knew about for years. Mostly nonsense.
ОтветитьThis is the worst movie ever made 😂
ОтветитьThis is the 1st horror movie I ever saw as a kid and it's still my All-time Favorite ❤️
Ответитьthis just shows how much of a genius stanley kubrick is
ОтветитьI think it’s a multi faceted movie, full of symbols, but it’s basically about the United States of America.
ОтветитьUS Congress proclaims the Declaration of Independence and independence from Britain on 4th July 1921. Also the zodiac sign is Cancer with a ruling planet Moon, and Monday(Moon day) to boot!
ОтветитьThis breakdown is almost just as good as the movie and that's why I love New Rock Stars.
ОтветитьYou talk way too fast lol
ОтветитьJack is the Devil card in the last shot, and there is also the feather and heart of Egyptian Maat, the judgement day. There is also the trumpet. See how he holds one hand up and one day, and the women behind have the feather and heart on their clothes.
ОтветитьHalloran does say that the ghosts can't hurt anyone, but in the book it is made clear that the power of Danny's "shine" gives them more power than they usually have.
ОтветитьI'd like to know who had to type out al those "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy ."
Anyone?
No comment on Jack’s satanist pose in the 1921 photo?
ОтветитьWhen will we get a deep dive version of this?
ОтветитьThe Grady twins are not twins. They're sisters who dress alike. When the manager of the hotel is telling Jack about the murders, he mentions the girls are 8 and 10.
ОтветитьIn old lore mirrors are portholes from the spiritual world to the mortal world
ОтветитьThe girls are not twins. They state their age in the movie.
ОтветитьI love when Dick gets to Denver and calls Larry for the snowcat. He doesn’t have time to get into explaining the shining and why he’s really there. So he boils it all down to “they turned out to be a bunch of unreliable assholes” which I always found funny. But after some thought. He was 100% right. Did Jack do even one job related thing while at the over look? No! Wendy did it all. All Jack did was break shit. The CB radio, the snow cat, he destroyed a couple of doors. He really was a terrible caretaker and a unreliable asshole lol
ОтветитьThose twins arent the Grady twins. There was no Grady twins. They didn’t mention the girls being twins in the book or the movie. I believe they had a 2 year age gap, and we never see any of the real Grady’s mentioned in the beginning
ОтветитьThat's not Carl Jung's Red Book. It's a Hotel & Motel Red Book.
ОтветитьOne thing I've never found anybody acknowledging is that at the beginning, Wendy says the incident with Jack and Danny happened 5 months ago. Then, later on, Jack says it was 3 years ago when he's at the bar. Maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but that feels significant
ОтветитьCount the cars again. I count 41 plus a delivery truck plus the side winder.
ОтветитьIf you read the book which I'm still reading-- the whole ending plot is clearly foreshadowed in the beginning
ОтветитьOkay everyone calls it a bear costume but it is actually supposed to be a wolf
ОтветитьThis is all of "Room 237" and then some, whittled down in to a succinct 34 min. Well done!
ОтветитьDid you know the 237 is actually 2 x 3 x 7 = 42
The most famous number in movie
What was the name of the documentary you referred to ?
Thanks in advance
Can someone tell me if the bear and the manager were in Danny’s room?
Ответить"It's just the story of one man's family quietly going insane together." - Stanley Kubrick
Kubrick's film is NOT King's novel.
There are no ghosts.
Each person is delusional: no two people witness anything "supernatural" at any given time. We, the audience, are only seeing what each clearly identified person is "seeing".
Wendy and Danny are the only ones disturbed by their visions. For Jack, the delusions are merely part of his fantasy of being one of the "best people", important, loved, and successful.
There is no "reincarnation"; the photo at the end of Jack is merely an image of what he fantasized about every time he saw it; he is front and center of what he most wnats to be part of.
SNORT
ОтветитьRoom was changed to 237 because in numerology it's 2×3×7=42. And 42 is shown 3 times which 42 equals to 4+2=6 and so 42 three times is 666.
Js😈👻☠
1min 44seconds in ya totally said FORT HOOD OREGON...??????
You mean Mount Hood Oregon. Js.
The best video on the movie! Great!
ОтветитьJack went crazy because he couldnt find his way around the outlook
Ответитьjack getting out of the freezer is simply a metaphor- you just cant keep jack in the freezer forever, hes gonna act out, messed up people will ALWAYS act out sooner or later, its a fait accompli.
ОтветитьLook into the “shown” conspiracy. Mind blown!!!!
ОтветитьJesus Christ. I mean lifted EVERYTHING from Rob Ager. You should have a copyright claim on this sucker! 😂 I'm ashamed to have watched all the way through, but to be fair, you HAVE done a great job of collecting everyone else's work into one place. 🤪
ОтветитьThe "Red Book" wasn't published until 2009, the film was released in 1980. Spooky
ОтветитьThis movie is a rare case of a book being perfected by a film director. The book is great, but Kubrick somehow captures the true horror of the story of a haunted hotel. I also think excluding the hedge animals and switching the mallet to an axe were for the best, the maze and axe are far more frightening imo.
Ответитьsadly the final solution was never implemented.
and the men women and children of palestine have been paying for it for 80 years.....with YOUR full support of the invaders.
Halloran really said that the ghosts were only pictures in a book to him because he doesn't shine as brightly as Danny.
ОтветитьThis will seem rough and simplistic, but I believe it to be true.
The audience watching the 'haunting' of wife and child feel a ready empathy.
To counterbalance the audience involvement, Kubrick implied the audience was a part of fracturing of Jack's character's splintering personality, as mad as he, and enjoying the freedom of his psychosis. Enjoying the actor... We were with him for his ride.
