Hi when I backtested my own strategy on fxreplay and also coded my own ea that was getting little bit worse results cause of spreads (when I tried on DXY which has huge spread so there was no winning trade because the trade closed as it opened so spreads must be there), I set slippage to 100 ms which is my actual broker latency, my backtest data quality bar is green, and I use 5 min timeframe, entering trades only on candle close can I trust my backtest ?

My issue with many EAs is the use of martingale - lots of little gains but big losses. They can get you more and more bought in to failing trades, but what if this trend is going to last for months or years ? You could end up bag holding a bunch of losses for months, eventually the loss will get so great that it sinks your account.

I have tested waka waka and xau bot from Valeria, but can say doing not to much and not perfect, so better works for me free robots like Dark venus or dark moon on small accounts. I think it cost to much this bots like waka waka.

ok, critisizing makes sense if you show how to do this better. Do you have an ea working with a real out of sample data that anyone can test? or the purpose of this video is to show that working ea does not exist? or will not be sold to general public?

How can we learn to properly test these EAs ??
