I travelled the world, only 2 places where I had guns pointed at me by police and asked for money, Lagos and Mexico City. There are still many nasty people in this world to watch out for. Always have your guard up when visiting unfamiliar places, goes for any where. Those minority outliners ruin the experience of the very nice majority.

I worked in Nigeria for a few years as soon as you land at the airport they start asking you for money they do it on arrival and do it when you leave, they even called me in to dispute my visa but as long as I pay them more money it’s ok , from passport checkers to visa checkers to baggage checkers they all want money to let you in , after a while people just pay as it’s quicker , that’s just the start and yes the police do the same , I’ll not tell you what the head of the country did on my job and how much he demanded before they work could start again lol so if the people want to know why they have no money it’s because the government and people who are employed by them , it’s so corrupt , so sad when you see the poverty and the people living on the streets then the government people living like millionaires with the expensive cars and armed guards and huge houses it’s shocking, people are great people but it’s all corrupt
