Mily unit only goes to code 25. It has rhe same look as the one in this video. My ice maker just stopped working for days. I entered diagnostics mode but code doesn't go higher than 25. Help?

My ice tray bin was in the upside down position with frozen ice inside .

I used water to melt the ice and did exactly what you did. I received error code 22.

The good news is the ice tray seem to reset it right side up the way it should be to receive water to make ice .

Waiting to see if it will produce ice throughout the day.

Where can I find a list of codes for the errors? First this fridge model?

Hello. I have model wrs588fihz04 and the code starts off a 12 and then goes to 22. What does that mean? During the test, the ice maker spins and arm comes down, but then goes back up and stays up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’m a tech and I came to a customer to fix their icemaker. Turns out there was a previous technician that swapped the icemaker and it still had issues. I put it into service mode like you did and got the same codes 23. In step 45 I saw that the icemaker was in the home position put could not get it to dispense water as it said it was still returning the home position (01). I put in a new icemaker and still have the same codes. I’m starting to think that the control board is bad

My fridge creates crushed ice only, The button/picture to change from cubes to crushed ice does change. I can only get crushed ice and not cubes. Is there a fix for this?

This is a prine example why appliances are becoming junk. Over engineering adds potential problems that should never had existed.

Please help. I have a similar whirlpool fridge. Ice dispenses fine but water does not. When i press the water button, it will indicate it's dispensing on the lcd screen but no water comes out. When the button us pressed there a faint humm sound.

As it turned out, the filter was simply clogged. It actually caused a backup through the water line and, after I changed the filter, it took almost a week to make a full tray of ice. Everything is working beautifully now though. YAY 😁

I have the same fridge. My ice maker stopped ejecting ice but there is ice in the tray. I was told I needed a new ice maker which I just installed. It filled with water and still wont dump the ice.
