Hi in After effects, once we select an item we want to isolate using a roto tool and pen (I want to take the candles out of a picture and move into another picture )what key do we press? for example I have a picture of candles I used the pen to select around the candle angels, now I don't know how to save it? and then how to move it onto my other picture background I created, that I want it to be on, please help! thanks

Im completely new to editing software, I am wanting to give this try because i run a Fan Page and I edit on my phone using apps. I really want to make good quality edits so I will for sure be giving this a try. I've always been interested in editing but never tried it out in depth. Thank You for this video i know its quite old but it is super clear and straight to the point. You are very good at explaining in detail and easy to understand.

I'm really interested in animation and a lot of my friends have been telling me after effects is something I should pick up. but It's hard trying to integrate it into my workflow and figure out how they all work together. any tips?
