AMD Ryzen 5600g vs 2400g vs 2200g Benchmark

*UPDATE* Please ignore the VRAM usage on our overlay. We've done some additonal testing this morning and discovered that the sensor we use to test this was only pulling data from the VRAM and not the additional RAM usage. The 5600G is limited to 512mb VRAM, however, it does use additional system RAM to deliver better graphics and a higher frame rate and although this additional usage isn't displayed within the overlay it was still happening as an automatic background process. The other overlay read outs are all correct, it's just VRAM usage that is incorrect.

Gaming is based on the graphics not the processor's cores. Vega 11 is better than vega 7 and vega 8.

Clearly you didn't setup the 5600G correctly, try a more up to date chipset like the MSI board B550, 32GB of 3600 memory, and switching ReBar and 4G on.
I know my current 5600G setup blows my old ASRock A320 2200G system away and is a lot faster than that in games like GTA V.

2400G has a stronger graphics chip than 5600G. All it need some cpu core OC.

Thanks for this. Actually i have an Asrock deskmini x300, rocking with the 2200g, and was thinking on upgrade to 4600g,....but.......as far as im seeing in this video, is a no sense for 5 fps more in average... :) this is the benchmark i needed for. THANKS you just save me 100 bucks

hello ...I ordered ryzen 5 5600g to replace my old Ryzen 3 2200g ,I also have the gtx 1650 4 gb and 32 gb ram and I play all the games very well(for example I have 45-55 fps in elden ring in medium settings ) ,but I need a new cpu and motherboard for my twitch streams ...What do you think about my choice ?

O 5600G tá limitado em 500 Megas ele aguenta até 8 Gigas de Vram, no meu eu uso 4 Gigas e o desempenho é muito melhor. Com 500 megas é um 2.200 2.0.

this is a bad benchmark, on the 5600g you have the memory at 1067mhz, and the other cpu's its at 1500 mhz, terrible.

5600g for some reason, 500 MB of memory is allocated for it, and 2 GB for the rest

2400G is still awesome holding it's ground.

Why Ryzen 5 2400G is inaccurate in this test? Because it's turbo boost is almost always 3098, not 3600-3900 MHz. You should take down this video.

I am about to build my second time ever DIY PC. this is a home office PC, no gaming just normal use and casual basic video editing.
I have a brand new, never used AMD Ryzen 2400G lying around, but came upon a great offer of Ryzen 5600G.

Love my AM4 platforms. I will always keep my R5 2400G. Never know when your graphics card could die. And at 2022 prices, better safe than sorry.

5600g shows 1067 (2133) vram frequency in some tests. seems like you forgot to set it in bios, so results are not that good. but still thanks for the video
