hello! this might seem like a stupid question, but what program did you use to build the app and run it? Does it have to be the Android Studio?

maybe a silly question , but how can you access the recyclerView without defined it neither create a binding

i mean in your code you just go rvUsers.adapter=adapter

but i have to define it first

I wouldn't really call this simple. It feels more rushed no offense. Its suppose to show the initial facts at the beginning. You started mentioning different plugins and not to mention its not truly built from scratch we are mostly just editing a per-existing code like a script kiddie would. Great tutorial but I guess it left me a bit disenchanted to say the least.

Loved the tutorial, now I'm laid off for 3 weeks so I'm about to make my own bootcamp of making online apps for android, what are other useful services like Firebase worth learning?

As someone with nearly 2 years of work experience in Kotlin I couldn't really understand what's happening when you made that code in visual studio. So you just randomly put code there and it magically happens in Android Studio? Would be a better tutorial if you explained that. Also it sounded a bit rushed. Did see some interesting things to try out though =)

seriously bro you don't know how to teach as i am not a fresher in this field, i just started to watch it so that i can clear my issues with firebase but you are saying things without even explaining a single bit of line as they are meant to be only memorized not to understand .

I was doing everything until half the tutorial I have to create a billed account, I mean, it should be mentioned beforehand, not everyone has a visa card especially foreign students. Disliked the tutorial since I wasted my time.

Hi Rahul, startActivityForResult is deprecated, hence it cannot be used

if you get this error : Unresolved reference: default_web_client_id
follow this solution
replace the version of google-services in project-level build.gradle to 4.3.5
Upgrading the version from 4.3.5 to anything higher than that makes Android Studio unable to detect the generated values.xml file.

I dont understand why my build.gradle file does not have buildscripts and so, it only has 3 plugin related statements. When I add buildscripts, some errors are showing up, would appreciate some help!
