ОтветитьHello from Arbroath in north east of Scotland.
I’ve made the Kennedy bag, clyedbank tote, and the chickadee backpack. I used the and adapted the chickadee pattern to make a double feed bag for my granddaughter and I think turned out really well.
I avoid taping pages together whenever possible. I buy acrylic templates or buy printed patterns when I can. Your PDF Plotting recommendation sounds great and I can't wait to try it.
ОтветитьCheck out the quilted coats article in the recent issue of Today's Quilter.

ОтветитьI don’t give a lot of hand sewn gifts to anyone unless I really really love that person and when I do it really depends on the person and their needs. Usually it changes every time.
ОтветитьLast minute gift ideas, I have none because the gifts I like to give are detailed. Sara thanks for your ideals and project shares. I’ll be checking out the PDF plotting, and alaska quilt laundry basket pattern❤
ОтветитьI make more knitted gifts than sewn gifts but I can’t say that they’re fast! A knitted hat is a good weekend project, though.
ОтветитьHere in Minneapolis, my local fabric shop Lakes Makerie offers Ao printing for patterns. The price seemed quite reasonable and locals can pick up so no shipping fee. You might check stores near you for the same service
