Lock Picking ● Find Combination to Master Lock Padlock ● Less than Two Minutes Using Only Feel

Just getting the first number from the snag point plus the last number from the traditional method of finding stop points narrows it down to ten combinations, which can be dialed in quickly.

Also, I remember once reading about the technique you use to find the first number somewhere buried deep in a text file on a bulletin board server, never could verify it myself because it was poorly explained. Until I found this video, of course.

In Bootcamp I had to crack dozens of these after hours, this sort of trick works for about 60% of locks, it doesn’t consistently work on every kind. Wound up brute forcing a couple and it was way off my attempts with a very similar method

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH. The trick if your not getting it is to find where the tension makes it feel rough in a bunch of places then slowly release tension until it only snags in one spot then use that amount of tension for the rest of this method. Hope this helps!
Edit: Make sure you know how to open a combo lock too lol. Heres how to do it incase you don't. First spin the dial clockwise 3 times, If you mess up the combo you must do this then restart. Then spin the dial clockwise until the arrow is on the first number. Then turn the dial counterclockwise until the dial is back on fist number. Then turn the dial counterclockwise until the dial is on the second number. Then turn the dial Clockwise until the dial is on the last number. Then pull the shackle/locker latch open

Solid method! I was able to get it open pretty quickly. If you have the tension down the biggest challenge is remembering the numbers.

My school locked my locker with my money and copies in it because I haven't paid for my school books (holding my property ransom). So, I'm gonna open the lock, leave the books, and tape a note to the locker saying "Thanks for using a MasterLock :)"

Really vague instruction on the second number. You just whipped the dial around and did not explain that movement. Are we first going to the number found to be the first to get the second number, or are we just turning counter clockwise, finding the catch, and then opposite way snag to fine #2. Really need to be precise on this or it will take people hours since you introduced vagueness.

You don’t know how much this helped me I have been doing for like twenty minutes but finally got it. It’s late at night and I need it for the first day of school/tomorrow. It is my brothers old one and he did not know the code

I did it on two. It worked on a master brand combination lock. And it didn’t work on a non brand combination lock. Also, there was some wiggle room on 1 or two digits “off”. But keep at it and I got one working. One less lock to the landfill. Thanks for the instructions.

I forgot the combination to my bike lock that was locked with a master combination lock and this actually worked. I really thought that you would have to have experience to do this but you really don’t.

I can't get this dumb lock I can't even find my first snag first time it was 35 then it was 0 now it's not working at all.
