I played violin from 7-25 years old. I was Principal Second violon in a (not well known) Symphony Orchestra and made money by playing. I'm now 40. I rarely play and when I do it's me, myself, and I in my house.

It is insane the number of people who want me to play for them when they find out about this part of my past. Or consistently ask when I'm going to join the community orchestra etc.

The hubs is a plumber. He says your water is highly chlorinated and that is what eating the toilet flapper.

A lot of your subscribers provided great advice to your toilet flapper problem. My husband has installed many toilets in new homes and has a few questions for you Tyler. Did you test your water before deciding to add softeners? Does your water softener have salt chemicals in it? Any testing done after adding softeners? My husband noticed in the video the cloudy water in tank and erosion on the handle indicatiing salt or other chemicals possibly still water or softener etc. He says some softeners can help but if the water is not fully tested for everything it could be making things worse. This erosion can also cause a problem to the water pipes as well if not caught early. Test your water again, ask your neighbors and if possible install a reverse osmosis water system. It is amazing. Our hard water eats our toilet innard parts as well and makes our tanks black inside .

We have added 2 kittens to our household and we have a gas fireplace, Blue absolutely Loves it, he just stares at you to turn it on. Our Jake 🐈‍⬛she is 18 and also loves the bed in front of the fireplace.

Do you put anything in the back like the blue or bleach pods or anything? My dads a plumber and a lot of the times people put cleaner in the back of the toilet but that can cause issues with the hardware even though it’s made for that reason

My mom also switched us to ground turkey when I was in high school. A lot of times, I will pick it up over ground beef because it's cheaper, and I try to limit red meat.

How do I view the thumbnail at a descent size to find tiny Tyler?

Most dates on food are sell by dates, which are there for the store's use, so they know how to move product. It doesn't mean the food is bad and will make you sick. Also, if tortillas aren't moldy it's likry perfectly safe to eat. There's so much unnecessary food waste in this country bc there's no standardized system for labeling food. SMH

A theory about your flimsy flapper: If your toilets are all the same make/model, it is probably a design flaw. I wonder if you put an o-ring on the fitting if that would allow a better seal on the flapper and prevent the erosion of the flapper by the running water? I also think the flappers are not using material that is appropriately rated? I don’t get why the nitrile material would deteriorate over time… unless it is caused by water erosion. In which case, see above comment on the o-ring.
