I understand how she feels being a working mother my parents are both in the military and then transferred to public health and there were a lot of days my sister and I were home alone because both my parents worked and we were always taught those are the sacrifices you make to ensure your family is taken care of so I think this lady just needs to reiterate to her children why she’s doing what she’s doing and they’ll completely understand yeah she’ll have that guilt but if you’re honest with your children and everyone will step up and help out as a family member

Oh man I have been locked up 10 time's in psychiatric ward's since 16. I have PTSD. Bipolar and fibromyalgia. This is so good to see. They don't allow people to film as the reality is shocking.

Working 3rd shift anywhere will destroy any family in a number of different ways. It's not worth the money.

Its crazy to me that people bullied her over her looks or her hair... Shes such a kind genuine woman... Honestly she is one of my favorite participants in the whole show... Maybe its cuz she reminds me of my mom, but shes a good human and i think her going back to CC and going in as an officer after blending in as an inmate deserves respect

GirL you have to work. Remember, it is for them. My mom n dad had 9. I was last. I'd get home from school, she'd have just left for work. After a few years she had it the way she wanted it. I know there is separation from inmate and normal average human beings. I think the way to rehabilitation is treating them like they are human beings. Not all bc my husband who is an ex inmate has told me some people its not a possibility but for inmates on good behavior their should be a reward system bc it builds hope and hope rehabilitates.

i binged this entire series of Sherri and I am so proud of her! she has a lot of guts to do something like this. she respects the inmates, she is GENUINE, she isn’t trying to become something she’s not, and seeing her journey in this was amazing. it’s March 2021 and I would love an update on her!

Girl that's the kind of schedule my dad worked. As much as it sucked to not see him alot he made MONEYYY was able to give me anything I wanted everything he never had what his mom couldn't do.. soon they gave him a schedule where I was able to see my daddy agin all the time. Things workes out.

I'm proud of her and hope she makes a change in just one person's like of being an inmate to staying out of the system. God bless her
