This is how they should have looked in the first place. But the bay designs weren't the worst things ever.

First of all, zoomer characters suck. Second of all, Bumblebee being all like “We have to fight for our home” at the last second as if that isnt what they were already doing is cringey and lame. If I were Optimus I would slap him for virtue signalling

Even though the usual Bay looks with a bunch of moving parts looks great imo, the gen 1 style of this scene is amazing and I love it.

Sound wave voice comes from the soul

This is how it should have been from the beginning. Real Cybertron with original designs. Even Arcee is in her true beautiful mechanical form, the Decepticons are recognizable especially sound wave and Shockwave. Starscream Thundercracker look like a true self not those weird mastrocities of the Michael Bay movies. I have Michael Bay made a decepticons look so ridiculously unrecognizable, especially Megatron. Cybertron is actually Cybertron complete with cities and elevated highways, not that chain link fence hexagonal droopy web silliness of the Bay movies.

This scene alone is the greatest depiction of transformers in a live action movie. This is what the world wants!!! They have the blueprint and they have no excuse to do it. James Cameron can disappear for a decade because he is making Aavtar, then the same can be done for transformers.
