Robert Ballard wasn’t inside any submersible when the first footage of the “Titanic” was filmed. He was rather above surface on board of a navy ship in front of a monitor remote controlling a submersible equipped with flashlights and cameras.

In recent underwater dives they used a 🤖 rov attached to a support ship... That beamed back images of titanic to the support ship I believe it was telepresence much safer than a sub going down to titanic..... Plus one can watch it at home when the video was released 😊

It was not 1986 lady it was discovered In 1985, it took Robert Ballard eight days to find the R.M.S. Titanic around 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. For more than 70 years, the location of the liner's wreckage — about 12,600 feet below the ocean's surface — had been a mystery since the "unsinkable" ship struck an iceberg late in the evening of April 14, 1912.

If I was there I would have tried to improvise some drag to get on a lifeboat.

I don't know where that "unsinkable" myth comes from. White Star never claimed the ship was unsinkable. They said it's "as unsinkable as a ship can be". That's a huge difference.

25 years in 2023? Shouldn't it be 25 years in December 2022? That's the original month the movie released in 1997.

Titanic is telling us , Doesn't matter what we do in life we are all decaying day by day. Seek GOD john 3:16 and find the truth and embrace the hate, love, joy, and harmony with GOD and not on your OWN. To everyone seeing these comments thousands of years from NOW. This is how we thought :)!

Theres a Lot of things that needed attention than this First class ship, theres Wilhelm Gustloff, This is only popular because theres a lot of rich people when it sank while we ignore the fact that there are a lot of ships that sank with no rich people inside yet we ignored it too. 😑
