I’ve always wondered if the amount of cores CORE-esponds to gaming performance
Ответитьok but there is a difference in cache size too. For a real core to core comparison test the 5900x with disabled cores
ОтветитьI recently acquired the Ryzen 9 5900X for a bargain price of $180, and although I'm not sure about its performance, I must say my computer is incredibly speedy. I paired it with a complimentary 1080ti hybrid graphics card boasting 12GB of VRAM, and now my system effortlessly handles any task. Surprisingly, my total expenditure for the entire PC setup amounted to just $500. :)
ОтветитьPC Centric, you do amazing work, high quality videos and full of informations ! I am gaming at 1080p, my system is Ryzen 2700X paired with RTX2070.
My question is : Do you think i would benefit if i upgrade my cpu to 5600x or 5700x ? Will i see improvement on fps against 2700x ? Thanks in advance :)
what would be the sweet spot if you also stream?
Ответитьso the sweet spot would be 8 cores to 10 cores I guess. in case if you have something in the background.
Ответитьhi dude i m thinking bout upgrading my cpu for my new rx 6800. do you think a 5600x will bottleneck it or should i got for 5800x ?
ОтветитьI love the effort and the insight this video brings because it gives the viewer the come up with their own conclusion on how many cores they actually need for their own gaming/pc situation. However when explaining this type of thing you need to dumb it down as a lot of people dont understand. To just simplify 6 cores is MINIMUM in 2023. 8 core is more ideal and everything over that is luxury. To people wondering if 6 is ideal why not just stop there? is because the more cores and threads you have the better the fps. and no just more better the fps you get better frame pacing, which means you will have less micro stutters in your game the more cores and threads you have.
ОтветитьQuestion; I have the AMD Ryzen 7 5800x 8-Core Processor as well with the RTX3070. Does it work better with windows 11 or windows 10? I had windows 10, upgraded, and every since I feel like my gaming quality just isnt as good? I'm new to playing on PC and have spent weeks working with in game and PC settings trying to get the best out of my gaming experience. I also want to be able to create content and stream, but my FPS isnt the greatest and I deal with a lot of lagging at times on my stream. Any advice or help would be appreciated. I've been following your page for a long time. Thanks again.
ОтветитьLets test cpu's with 100% gpu usage...
ОтветитьFor casual gamers like myself 4 cores are more then enough
ОтветитьJust an update. I've been gaming with a 5600x for the past two years. Yesterday I installed a 5900x in my system (same gpu) and my machine is way more responsive in gameplay . Less lag. 5600x works great but the 5900x feels better at 1440
Ответитьin 2022 at least 4 cores....
ОтветитьJust got the Ryzen 9 5900x on sale the other day, and it has been great so far, OC to 4.5 all core and it did a Multi-Core Cinebench score of 22406 and the other benchmarks great at an avg 47c. 81c was the hottest it got on some Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste I had lying around.
ОтветитьJust got a 5900X for $339.99. Great CPU at least for the next 3 years.
Ответить5600 non X is enough for 1440p gaming! 140 quid on Amazon right now, with free Uncharted collection worth £45!!
ОтветитьI cant decide between the 5900X vs the 5800X3D , right now in canada they are both 469.99$ , I have an ASUS 3060 KO 12GB and 32GB RAM , I game and edit videos mainly... what should I go for... I heard the 5800X3D is the best cpu for gaming rn but also the 5900x has more cores so I am leaning towards that.
ОтветитьBro... I've been playing with 2 cores.... I used the Athlon 3000g... Now I see why my game crashs so much🤔
ОтветитьThis guy is awesome :)
Ответитьi use an i7 9700k 8 core since Oct. 2020, still going very strong
Ответитьyou are the only channel I found that actually tests how performance is when disabling cores just out of curiosity. Very interesting video you deserve a sub
ОтветитьAs just a "casual" gamer, I have a 5700X (paired with a 3070Ti, and a big "thank you" to ASUS for making the older X370-A motherboard compatible with the 5xxx CPU's). Probably "overkill", but what the hell... :-)
ОтветитьEven my 2600x is sufficient for all games in 1440p and at least 60 fps.
ОтветитьI have 3300x & Asus tuf gaming 5600XT Oc gpu. Worth the upgrade from 3300x to 5600x? Here in my country 5600x is selling for 230$
My Pc is used for playing games mostly & to do live streaming on different platforms together.
I recently just purchased an i3-12100f. Probably should have gotten an i5-12400f to go with my RX 6700 XT.
ОтветитьYou need all of the cores. Nothing but threadripper 64 core monsters
ОтветитьHow are you viewing CPU and GPU utilization like that?
Ответитьi like your blog today,, i think i need 8 cores is enough for gaming
Ответитьi clicked on this video thinking it was a joke canon to how much ram do you need because my brain completely blurred core
ОтветитьI'm so glad that you finished tomb raider
ОтветитьGrabbed a 5800x for a more future proofing and 6 cores is a slacker now adays especially in 1 even 2 years
Ответитьdo all the systems have same bloatware that is on normal pcs hardware ? or are they all fresh builds ?
Ответитьplease add frame pacing which is where you notice a good CPU
ОтветитьGood video tho
ОтветитьThis dude is a 50 50 mix between Austin Evan’s and Linus tech tips
ОтветитьWhy is 5700x never mentionned ?
ОтветитьWhat if I run the same hardware at 1080p, but limit the fps to 144?
ОтветитьSo how long is your hmm... Screw driver?
ОтветитьI think 12 cores for me personally is a good hard limit as in well, why would i need a 16 core ?
ОтветитьI have intel i5 6600k plays everything he mentioned here with decent settings and most maxed out. Maybe another two years I’ll upgrade to high end system at a discount.
ОтветитьI really wish people would get away from just looking at a frame counter and benchmarks and explain the differences and advantages to a better cpu. Like having bigger cache sizes and more consistent frame times, faster load time, and a bunch of everyday use stuff.
Ответитьi got 5600x cpu with a 6900xt . it bottlenecks my gpu . So its not enough for high end gpus.
ОтветитьThen which processor should I choose? I am confused. Everything looks kinda the same to me except those chores
ОтветитьBuilding my first pc thinking about getting the 5600x
ОтветитьI wouldn't recommend purchasing a HP product, if there are alternatives, HP kinda sucks.
