Couldnt agree more on the last tip, every time i play with a new or old group of people they ALWAYS wanna baby their weapons and gear and dont like to do too much moving around cause they're afraid to die which i think makes you kinda enjoy the game a little less and hate it more when you play like that.

Didnt play it much but got kidnapped my first day got driven to the middle of the woods right before they got to their camp with a bunch of others his buddy let me go and he dropped me gun i shot his buddy knocked him out and ran like crazy he betrayed his group and didnt want them to know was funny they chased me forever found someones car they had parked near a church building and just drove like hell they chased me for awhile tracking me through the woods until i stole that car

You get banned when you dont cheat its a ripoff.Waste of money for a game.

I usually do the "run in the house find a room and camp with a shotgun" method works everytime

"Be patient" that resonates with me because i just f-ed up an easy kill on a geared player while he had his back turned because i shot too soon 😔 good thing i got disconnected for bad connection before he could retaliate (it was absolutely a losing fight)

I get the prefire part, but it just feels so scummy. Like you cant aim or make split second decisions on where to shoot so you just shoot everywhere

My personal pro tip - if you're close, like within 100m, even outdoors, don't try to iron sight it, you are almost always better off hip firing, especially with semi or full auto weapons

Day z on Xbox is no joke I got killed by someone all I hear is someone laughing I'm running away I see him I start shooting at hem put the character was laughing so it made me laugh and he knocked me unconscious put me in handcuffs when my character woke up he was still laughing I'm like what the fuc he took all of my s***the character still laughing so it's making me laugh that was too funny

That last one is kind of counterintuitive, this being a survival game

It really doesnt take that long to get geared if you know what you're doing, gear fear will ruin your fun, go out and talk to/kill player's.

No clue how I’ve played Dayz for 100’s of hours and never knew about my feet facing the direction of attack. That’s actually a game changer for me thanks. Glad I subbed!

That confidence tip is a big tip and a lot of people miss that last step to getting good in dayz

When you overthink everything…but also have the aim from years of ranked CSGO…you end up with 80+ kills and 20+ stashes and 8 car bases…haven’t died to anybody expect obvious hackers…and keep a whole Google Drive dedicated to keeping track of all your stuff in DayZ…and host a private server to test out everything before building and raiding in order to achieve that German efficiency…

Honestly this point I’m looping a message on a field transceiver to get more people to engage in PVP with me and my squad…but even then I have problems. Nobody sane is going towards that message callout, so it ends up being groups with a hacker or 2 in them…last time I saw my friend get shot through a wall with a crossbow…no windows to shoot through…yet a fking bolt was stuck in his head…and my head within the next few seconds…ugh…

Hackers win at the end of the day I guess…they need to do something about that…

Always try your luck on pvp servers. Doesn’t help if you can’t aim😊
