A masterpiece! I love it! Thanks for your wonderful gift of living sound, Zheanna! ❤
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant, but I'd like to know, are these examples actually being played by hand on a microtuned piano or is this being played by a sequencer with a VST? Either way I love listening to it.
Ответитьi barely know a thing about these chords but gosh, i love how they sound. they just feel like this lime green gradient background with waterdrops or something, which is difficult to describe but it's just... beautiful!
Ответитьif someone wrote a book about this stuff... id buy it
ОтветитьThis sounds like being right on the verge of consciousness as lively conversation is happening around you.
ОтветитьHoly fking sh_t.
From someone whose studied/plays/tries to push microtonal music, holy fking sh_t you're a genius, keep it up.
Never heard better chordal microtonal arrangement. And this is 1st vid I've seen of yours.
Algorithm did something right haha, subscribed af
That emaj13 was nuts
ОтветитьI’m stunned! I don’t even understand how one can compose like this, very impressive.
ОтветитьПосмотревшNх людей С0йдYт с ума
ОтветитьI feel the shine in the Chords lets goooo
ОтветитьI think you're the greatest thing since bread
ОтветитьThis is genuinely mushroom music and I love it SO much
ОтветитьDo you compose mainly in your head, or do polychords require constant experimenting? Great work btw.
Ответитьliterally cannot stop watching, goddAMMIT i LOVE MICROTONES-
ОтветитьI came for the thumbnail but that is deffo a top notch piece. Absolutely stoked!
ОтветитьI can't even begin to comprehend the music theory behind this, but it sounds amazing. I'm obsessed!
ОтветитьLeast complex piece of music theory
ОтветитьExcellent.
Mysterious and resolving, just scratching the surface trying to describe how totally awesome this shit sounds high af.
Can I tape this and use it to make a track with?
Hi Zheanna, I really like these harmonic sonorities and would like to know more about it as I have been delving into this new vocabulary quite recently. I know the theory behind EDO and temperaments and I'm glad you put the score on your videos but there are lots of terms that are unfamiliar to me and seem to emanate from your own discoveries and categorisation system. I tried to message you on twitter but it's actually no longer possible if we are not connected. Feel free to answer here, to give external links for me to look into or to connect via an other social network. Xoxo
ОтветитьGreat, what software are you writing this on? Does the software recognize the notation?
ОтветитьI thought I was doing something clever when I released a song in C Neutral 24-EDO in 2018. You’re taking it a hundred levels higher!
ОтветитьIt's weirdly pleasent. But it's also not. It sounds like what thinking about a dream feels like.
Ответитьmothrian yessssss
ОтветитьIs this how you hear colors?(btw i love this, its my favourite)
ОтветитьI know nothing about this at all and it's such a beautiful thing.
ОтветитьHey man! Love your content... Can i know how did you build the tone in pianoteq.. I mean what steps to take for creating this kinda microtonal texture in my piano
Ответитьthis is the kind of stuff i would be writing if i had the means to. the most important feature of composition to me is shifting in and out of tonal lucidity, and i’m just beginning to experiment with it.
ОтветитьThis is what normal music theory looks like to people who don't know any music theory.
Ответитьstunning textures. absolutely gorgeous!
ОтветитьThis gives me feelings i've never had while listening to any music. It's like a religious experience
ОтветитьThis is really impressive and fascinating.
ОтветитьOkay now sing over it
ОтветитьSorry - couldn't take more than 5s of that. Next!
ОтветитьSo Hauting Ground
ОтветитьReminds me of the soundtrack to the game Stray
Ответитьit would be so cool if chords like this would actually make it into music of like other genres i guess
ОтветитьAmazing work
ОтветитьI can easily see this being an ambient song in a movie or game soundtrack
ОтветитьThis is incredible. I think you must be making history with videos like this one. These are astonishing.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьYour whole channel is truly blowing my whole mind.... this is incredible... seriously watching all your videos with my mouth agape at the exploration of these harmonic constructs and how beautiful they sound together. Down with the equal temperament establishment!!! haha
ОтветитьI wish I had a Lumatone or some other polychromatic instrument (other than my 50 year old spinet piano, LOL)
ОтветитьReally enjoying your channel - do you ever use string synths? That would probably sound wonderful with some of your harmonies
ОтветитьWah, kayak timbangan Slendro di Indonesia
