So you had no issues doing this even though the file you flashed was .bin and linksys uses .img? That was something I did not see addressed anywhere, other than hinting that perhaps a bootloader would be required as well.

Why did you do this after the x86 setup? I'm more curious about a x86 build.

It's too bad you couldn't follow up on the overall performance on lan, wifi experience, your max achievable bandwidth. Setting up network to your ISP if it's pppoe, Qos settings, the pro's and con's using alternative firmware, dns setup, difficulties adding modules programs etc, you can also compile the firmware for all your needs by creating custom build but that would be an extra video as there are two methods, the first is pretty simple, fast and then there is the two and half hour pending on your cpu, ram but in the end you'll have a great deal of packages, documents, modules, openwrt has documentation on all this. best regards
