Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch Review - Is It Worth It?

Thank you for the awesome review. I’m currently in the hospital and I just asked my wife to bring me my switch and I ordered this game. I can’t wait to play it.

Yes, definitely worth it. It's fairly short (took me less than 20hrs to see and do absolutely everything), but with the amount of thought that's been put into making every single level feel unique and memorable I didn't feel shortchanged in the slightest.

The only real negative I can give is that considering how much variety and creativity is on display for 95% of the game, the boss battles are ironically some of the blandest and most forgettable of any game in the Mario universe

I'm genuinely shocked after listening to the review that the score wasn't a 10/10.

Playing Super Mario Wonder and this game felt the missing sequel to Super Mario World that never came to the Super Nintendo. Like come on Sega put out Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic 3. Yoshi Island & Super Mario Allstars Doesn't count.

This game has a serious side effect, please consieder it befor you buy! You will become happy and giggle sometimes even if you dont wat to! 🥰

Great review. Very amusing to hear someone mispronounce Yoshi's name as "Yaw-shi". It's pronounced Yoe-shi. 😂 But you did a good job otherwise with the review. It definitely makes me want to get this game. 👍

The game is a 4/10 at best. In 2 to 3 years from now, this game will be completely forgotten. And for a mario game it has the most mid and forgettable soundtrack.

It's hard to justify spending $60 on a 10 hour game. It's pretty, but it still has problems. Terrible bosses, too short in general, and a lack of badge variety (most badges powercreep badges in its own class). The game should be $40 at most.

So I’m 42, use to love gaming. Can’t get a ps5/xbox as I just don’t have the time. Just casual gaming, would switch be good?

Gameplay and design look great. But dont like at all the colours, something is seriously wrong with the selection of colours.

I think this game is severly overhyped and it feels like its changed alot but it doesnt really. Elephant mario is just thrown in for no reason and bowsers transformation is just a head scratcher. Its typical mario fun but wow its not that special, at least to me. We'll see what the potential sequel does

I wanna know who was responsible for co ordinating the game design elements of this game because they deserve an award

I don't think Mario World was as much of an improvement on Mario 3 as you imply. Much of the innovation began with Mario 3 and continued into Mario World and Yoshi's Island.

What would make this game "revolutionary" then? Mario in a FPS VR world, with guns?
