Crazy that if you kill Maxson, Danse refuses to ever speak to you again. Like, man, the guy was gonna kill you. How can you retain that level of respect for the guy that genuinely would have you dead despite all of your hard work and dedication to the Brotherhood. He doesn't care about you and would not have done the same for you, he would literally give me a promotion if I killed you bc he is that desperate to have you dead.

I know it's just a game and it's probably just the lack of thought and care that was put into it, but it's SOOOO ugh.

Si lo piensas bien, Danse, al ser liberado por el Ferrocarril, es posible que lo programaran como un fiel soldado a la Hermandad despues de Yermo Capital, adaptándose a la doctrina de Maxon, es decir, soy partidario de que un Synth no se puede considerar humano, es un robot programado, no tiene una mentalidad propia, y sigue siendo peligroso porque sigue estando expuesto a un fallo de programa que iguale a una masacre, pues estos Sytnh de 3 gen están diseñados para el combate, no para vivir una vida como tal, incluso aunque le salves la vida a Danse matando a Maxon, su programación no le permite analizar o reflexionar algo que no sea a favor de la Hermandad, enemistandose contra ti sin importar que toda la Hermandad se ponga en su contra, incluso su propio equipo le dispararan si le ven, es decir, cualquier persona se enfadaría y estaría dispuesto a volverse en su contra o desertar de ellos, pero la única lógica de Danse es morir por ser un Synth, ¿porque? Porque lo dicta su programación, y no se puede volver en contra de ello porque entonces colapsaria y terminaría como cualquier Sytnh defectuoso, aunque le salves, todavía sigue pensando que forma parte de la Hermandad.

Es por eso que si piensas con la lógica, es decir, una IA programada sigue siendo una IA programada, es totalmente aceptable eliminarlo, pues ese es su deseo y deber, y sólo estarías alargando lo inevitable condenando a Danse a no poder cumplir con su objetivo y seguir su ideal, al final sólo vas en contra de sus deseos y tratas de decidir por el, diriges su vida cuando en realidad Danse debería tener la libertad de decidir por si solo si realmente respetas a los Synth y su libertad.

Honestly, my first character to do this mission shot Danse. I knew there was a way to save him, but my character still shot him. Why? Because he himself agrees with it. I mean, while I resent anyone calling him a traitor, the man lived by the code and would die by the code. And I respect that. I don't think there's any greater tribute one could bring Danse than respecting the code by which he lived. The code is what matters and Danse put it above himself, so would my character be an exception?

the best way to play this game is to follow the BoS up until this point, spare Danse and betray Maxon for the Minutemen and building them up specifically to shoot down the Prydwen. The most satisfying the plot ever gets tbh.

Downloaded the mod that reintroduces the quest where Danse can be made Elder. The wasteland has enough cultists and authoritarians.

I always do the brotherhood quests right up until they let you on the ship, then I just kill everyone on board and at the airport, cuz f**k those guys lol

In one playthrough, I got the perfect cinematic moment when I used VATS to blow Maxons head off right at the very moment his knife slashed Danse's throat. They both laid there dead as I became enemies with the brotherhood, and Maxon's vertibird opened fire on me as I ran off into the woods, ultimately joining the Railroad to finish off the main quest line.
