I watch full tv shows and movies on hulu, and that is FREE! Why should I PAY google that much more money to watch in worse quality? Isn't that also why we have blueray?

@poolboyinla True, smaller partners are fending for themselves. I have just started distributing my content through other avenues to reach a bigger audience. It's very exciting.

@jesaro07 I have thought about making my short film, Sexual Understanding, a rental because it is age-restricted and I can't make any money from revenue sharing on it. I would have charged 99 cents. I thought that might turn people off though so I just wanted to let them see it for free. Over 100,000 people have watched it so far and I am glad they have. I have not made one cent off of it though.

I like renting from you tube, I think it is too much compared to other places like red box but I personally do not have the time between work and what not, to go to a red box and then you have to return it in 24 hrs, therefore you have to go twice so it's nice sometimes to be able to rent a movie without running back and forth. It's still pricey though but convenient. . .

depending if the movie is not out on red box. not all movies are gonna be on red box.

Yes unfortunately am an older generation that doesn't navigate well through the system as well as others. Also have agoraphobia which makes this my source. Sad wish they gave access to people on fixed income and people with medical conditions. Have tried other companies and turns out to be a big problem with fly by night companies. Wish there were more answers and choices for us in the same boat.

Yes! Normally when I rent from red box I forget to return and pay just as much. You get the movie for 48 hrs so it’s worth it. No mess no fuss -nothing to return.
